Job Title: Mechanical Commissioning Lead The Mechanical Commissioning Lead supports the Commissioning Manager by overseeing the commissioning of mechanical systems for Owner-Furnished, Contractor-Installed (OFCI) and Contractor-Furnished, Contractor-Installed (CFCI) equipment. The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for providing maintenance support to the Okonite Cable and Compound Manufacturing Plants. MGX Shop Crane Technicians are responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of various crane equipment including mobile cranes and boom trucks.. This position will be located at the Nashville, TN branch for MGX Equipment Services and reports to the Service Manager. Candidates hired for this role will receive a $4,500 sign-on bonus, payable after 90 days continuous service; and be eligible for our Tool Reimbursement Program of up to $1,500 per calendar year. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Operate and perform thorough inspection of cranes in order to diagnose defects. Diagnose, repair and troubleshoot various mobile hydraulic and lattice cranes; repair hydraulic and electrical components. Examines parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gauges. Reads, understands and interprets operating and parts manuals, blueprints and technical drawings. Tests mechanical, electronic, electrical and hydraulic products and equipment after repair or modification to ensure proper operation and compliance with OEM specifications. Prepares for jobs by checking parts and drawings for accuracy and completeness. Perform thorough and accurate annual inspections.
