Provide intermittent nursing assessment and care in the home environment for homecare/hospice patients. About this position
Position Purpose
This position provides programmatic regulatory management, direction, training, and support for all divisions in the North Memorial Health system. The System Manager, Regulatory is responsible for achieving and sustaining clinical and operational compliance to all regulatory programs including but not limited to: CMS, MN Department of Health, OSHA, FDA, DNV, etc. This role will lead and collaborate on system-wide accreditation and regulatory activities, including coordination and management/collaboration of surveys or investigative processes and continual regulatory preparedness. Manages relationships with external health care accreditation, state, and federal regulatory authorities and provides consultation and expertise to leaders and team members by maintaining current knowledge and education base for accreditation, regulatory standards, and compliance guidelines. This individual is an expert contributor responsible for assigned system accreditation activities ranging from program design, projects, initiatives, evaluation, readiness, monitoring and implementation.

• Required: At least 2 years experience working with accreditation and regulatory compliance within a healthcare setting including but not limited to: MN Department of Health, OSHA, DNV/The Joint Commission, CMS, etc.
• DNV accreditation experience/knowledge preferred

• Experience in change management including process improvement theory and practice

The position will involve emergency gynecologic care and the full spectrum of complex and routine antepartum hospital care and deliveries. The physician will use his/her clinical experience and will work independently in both the management of complex patients and collaboration with providers from other specialties. The Hospitalist OB/GYN will consult with the customer and/or guardian to create a plan in order to provide the best care for them.

Job Description
Provides direct patient care for adult and geriatric residents of the Long Term Care Center. Accurately completes all aspects of resident assessment, formulates nursing plan of care. Evaluates effectiveness of care.
Responsibilities:
Accurately completes aspects of Resident Assessment Instrument Process (MDS, Raps and Care Plans).
Works with the interdisciplinary team to complete assessments, coordinate care, and plan for discharge.
Provides delivery of care in a timely, accurate and caring manner.
Demonstrates an understanding of charting and documentation needs to meet facility, federal, and state guidelines.
Assists other nurses and Nursing Assistants with direct care and procedures.
Promotes independence of residents by offering choices and fostering self help skills.
Safely administers medication including oral, IM, subcutaneous, and IV medication.
Notifies MD or NP of changes in condition and other pertinent information.
Accurately receives and transcribes order from MD and NP according to established facility policies.
Promptly responds to alarms, resident call lights and requests.
Delegates and directs care of residents to Nursing Assistants.
Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
Current MN RN license
Prefer experience in Geriatrics
Current BLS certification or willingness to obtain within 6 mo. from start date (company paid)
