Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal ContractAdministrator/Sr. Principal ContractAdministrator (Level 3/4) to join its team of qualified, and diverse professionals. This is an on-site position located in Orlando, FL or Beavercreek, OH. Other locations that may be considered Rolling Meadows, IL, Manhattan Beach, CA Hollywood, MD, Linthicum, MD or Huntsville, AL.
This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine‑hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
The successful applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's contracts organization and will support various Government programs, capture and proposal activities as well as provide contract operations support. The successful candidate will be a direct report to Contracts Leadership and will work closely on a day-to-day basis with the business managers, operations managers, capture managers and other functional teams throughout the department. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of contracts from the business development phase through contract closeout, delivering strong customer satisfaction, successful financial performance, and risk mitigation. Candidate's ability to build strong customer intimacy and employee engagement is key. Candidate must be a self-starter and able to work collaboratively with team members, including in an advisory role to program management, site management and the customers. Candidate will have knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS).
In this role, the selected candidate will:
Work complex assignments independently and support Finance, Program Management, and various levels of Management
Lead proposal preparation, contract negotiation and contractadministration activities from proposal through closeout.
Administer daily contract activities for a variety of product lines and contract types, including cost reimbursable and firm fixed price; such activities will include establishing payment terms, initiating, and monitoring invoicing, collections, and funding to support financial objectives.
Enter and manage data in the Contract Management System, financial and delivery systems.
Participate in customer meetings, performing and monitoring compliance to contract requirements and leading change management process.
Ensure non-disclosure agreements and contract terms and conditions are negotiated within company guidelines.

Basic Qualifications for a Level 3 Principal ContractAdministrator:
Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in contracts management, contractadministration, or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience in contracts management, contractadministration.
Aerospace and Defense industry experience.
Experience in contract negotiations.
Working knowledge and understanding of FAR and DFARS and ability to efficiently and effectively research FAR/DFAR information.

Basic Qualifications for a Level 4 Senior Principal ContractAdministrator:

Primary Level Salary Range: $82,900.00 - $136,800.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $103,200.00 - $170,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. What does this role look like?
Requests for Proposal (RFP) or revisions to contracts. Provide strategy, risk assessments, and offers alternative approaches to mitigate risks, including alternative contractual language; evaluates and coordinates proposals; investigates and reconciles significant contract changes involving cost, specifications, schedules, etc.

Working in conjunction with associated functional organizations and customers to ensure conformance with contractual obligations, to remain cognizant of problem areas, and to implement the required corrective actions.
Developing and applying advanced concepts, techniques, and standards to assigned activities.

Overview

MHI Ship Repair & Services is a major marine repair and conversion contractor serving the U.S. Navy, Military Sealift Command, Maritime Administration and Commercial ship owners and operators worldwide.
The ContractAdministrator for MHI is responsible for all aspects of contractadministration to include adherence to performance, schedule and cost including contract change pricing and interpreting contract language. This position handles multiple complex contracts at one time, including negotiations and disputes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Conducts initial contract review for acceptance of proposed/negotiated price, schedule, and other terms and conditions.
Monitors contract performance to delivery schedules and other terms and conditions.
Works with other company departments to ensure contract compliance across all functional areas to include interpreting contract language and meaning for production crafts.
Serves as the primary point of contact with our customers, meets with them to discuss progress, quality, costs, or other contractual performance and adherence issues and presents company's position in contract negotiations and disputes.
Reviews contract modifications for accuracy and completeness.
For cost type contracts, interfaces with Estimating and Planning as necessary for submittal and negotiation of work packages, prepares and submits Cost Schedule Status Reports and Cost Schedule Funding Reports. Reviews cost performance and submits Variance Reports when necessary. Notifies customer of Limitation of Costs at 75% point.
Gathers pricing data and prepares contract change pricing, submits to the customer and negotiates the change pricing.
Chairs weekly financial status meeting with the Government.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in business administration or accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least three years of federal government contracting experience to include knowledge of FAR/DFARS.
Good organizational skills.
Strong analytical abilities and quantitative skills. Must be capable of performing detail-oriented work.
Requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Must have ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
Computer skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

ContractsAdministrator As part of the Global Legal team, the U.S. ContractsAdministrator will oversee the contract management process and procure-to-pay platform and support lawyers and the business to effectively prepare, manage and execute contract documents, and maintain the contract database.

Qualifications
