The Arbitration Specialist III is responsible for the review, investigation, and reopening of closed out-of-network disputes utilizing the Federal independent dispute resolution processes, known as “arbitration”, including assessing whether errors occurred in dispute closure and pursuing corrective action when appropriate. The Arlington Division is looking for partner-track physicians who are interested in doing most of your own cases with a minor component of care team leadership. We also have employment opportunities with a fixed salary, fixed hours, and reduced call, if so desired. We cover several hospitals and surgery centers in the Arlington/Mansfield area. Cases are a mix of general, ortho, ENT, plastics, GI, spine, ophtho, urology, gyn, office based anesthesia, and OB. Good regional block skills are required. No heads, no hearts, no trauma. Our practice has a good work life balance with 3-4 calls a month and one weekend call every 8 weeks. Other than OB, our call is taken from home. ACD Division - The practice is a collegial and collaborative environment of physicians covering primarily adult orthopedics and podiatry with a small amount of general surgery. The orthopedic case mix is varied and includes joint replacement as well as sports medicine. The ideal candidate would be proficient with blocks and looking for a M-F or M, W, F schedule - no call, night, weekend, or holiday coverage. Our group is very well respected, with leadership roles at these hospitals, and has a long-standing relationship with the surgeons. We are the primary anesthesia group at Texas Health Southlake and Bear Creek Surgery Center while our coverage is increasing at Trophy Club. Several of our surgeons flip rooms which allows us to pair you up with a more senior anesthesia provider and get to know the surgeons. Southlake is an affluent community most well-known for its highly ranked public schools. The Carroll ISD is historically ranked in the top 3 in Texas. Additionally, Southlake offers a wide variety of restaurants and retail throughout the city, as well as in its charming Town Square. For the adventurous, Southlake offers miles of hiking trails, countless parks, and access to Grapevine Lake.
