The Employee Relations Manager (ERM) provides expertise on all employee relations and policy matters across the organization using internal and external insight to develop strategy, supply guidance, ensure consistency, and manage risk. The ERM oversees investigations related to violations of policy, employment law, and/or conduct expectations and should show a clear understanding of legal compliance with NorthStar policies and procedures. This role will have a dotted line to our Employment and Labor Counsel in Legal. *This position can be performed from anywhere within the United States. Candidates must have reliable internet access and be able to work effectively in a virtual/remote environment. Essential Functions: Completes, or supervises completion, of all investigations of allegations such as discrimination, harassment, retaliation, hostile work environment, and policy violations, among others. Coaches and educates HR Partners and NorthStar people managers on implementing resolutions for behavioral and performance management challenges. Supplies guidance to people managers in composing all corrective actions or performance reviews (documented verbal warnings, written warnings, clarifications of expectations, termination letters for those clinical employees whose employment is governed by an employment agreement, and performance improvement plans). Enters, supports, and updates all incidents, complaints, and investigations to the company's incident management system (Navex, EthicsPoint). Manages relationships with union representatives and serves as Labor Relations Manager for HR. Partners with HR Partners who support markets with union representation to ensure we are following the most up to date laws and best practices in regards to labor relations. Updates and presents the Employee Relations Executive Dashboard at quarterly executive compliance committee meetings, showing trends and themes, as well as opportunities for process improvement and employee education. Owns and supports the NorthStar Employee Handbook, collaboratively consulting on policy changes and updates, as necessary. Helps in writing and editing policies in professional and easy-to- understand language. Partners closely with the HR Partner and Talent Management teams in HR on annual performance reviews, annual goal setting, and facilitation of educational sessions. Represents the employee relations function across a broad range of clinical and corporate employee stakeholders, engaging them with respect to best practices and coaching them when needed. Consults with in-house legal counsel, external attorneys, NorthStar compliance, and NorthStar quality management to ensure risks are fully considered and guidance to employees is consistent. Coaches and educates employees at all levels with respect to employee relations content, either through personally led trainings, small-group-facilitated discussions, or one-on-one conversations. Maintains a wide variety of employee records for the purpose of supplying information and documentation. Summary/Objective: The Help Desk Concierge role provides exceptional, people-centered customer service to teammates needing assistance with IT systems. This role serves as the first line of support - listening carefully, communicating clearly, and ensuring each teammate feels supported and confident that their issue is being handled. Summary/Objective: The Credentialing Manager manages provider credentialing activities of NorthStar Anesthesia medical providers working at client locations in alignment with department and organization policy & procedures and state and federal requirements. The practice is comprised of knowledgeable and supportive physicians and talented and collegial CRNAs working in an anesthesia care team model with 2-3:1 medical direction. Our CRNAs enjoy a high degree of independence, while knowing that they will be appropriately supported if the need arises. Our CRNAs and SRNAs provide anesthesia for all surgical specialties, including some involvement in cardiac and neuro anesthesia. The case mix at MDMC includes all surgical specialties, OB, GI, radiology and EP. There are even a small number of pediatric cases for those who have an interest. Our CRNAs place their own epidurals and spinals, arterial lines and central lines (if credentialed). The MDMC CRNA group has both set-shifts as well as a priority system to determine a go-home order. Currently, night and weekend shifts are covered by individuals who prefer to work those shifts. However, there is availability if you would prefer to work these shifts. The Trinity Division (Presby Plano, Baylor Frisco, Texas Health Frisco) is growing and looking for both experienced and new graduate CRNAs to join our team. Great team atmosphere and support in our care team. There will be OB and trauma opportunities, but the primary focus is routine general anesthesia cases for both inpatients and outpatients. Neuraxial and regional block experience preferred, but not required. This position offers a highly flexible combination of 24, 12, 10, and 8-hour shifts to work with any schedule. The Arlington Division is looking for partner-track physicians who are interested in doing most of your own cases with a minor component of care team leadership. We also have employment opportunities with a fixed salary, fixed hours, and reduced call, if so desired. We cover several hospitals and surgery centers in the Arlington/Mansfield area. You will primarily be working at the following facilities: Arlington Memorial Hospital, Methodist Mansfield Hospital, USMD Arlington Hospital, and Baylor Orthopedic and Spine Hospital. We have a wide variety of cases that we cover. We have 3 hospitals that we cover OB with an average of 150-200 deliveries per month. With a heavy orthopedic practice, regional skills are preferred. We also have a separate CT/thoracic call team so no hearts/lungs required. Pediatric cases available, but not required. ACD Division - The practice is a collegial and collaborative environment of physicians covering primarily adult orthopedics and podiatry with a small amount of general surgery. The orthopedic case mix is varied and includes joint replacement as well as sports medicine. The ideal candidate would be proficient with blocks and looking for a M-F or M, W, F schedule - no call, night, weekend, or holiday coverage. Spectrum Division: The Spectrum Division is a great practice for any Anesthesiologist. We operate out of several premier hospitals and ASCs in Collin, Denton, and Dallas County including the cities of Plano, Richardson, McKinney, Frisco, Dallas, and Flower Mound. We have 23 physicians and 15 CRNAs. We are seeking physicians due to our growth. Our practice consists of a healthy mix of patient ASA Status's and types of surgery including Obstetrics. Regional skills are a must. No Cardiac. The Care Team approach is only in one location, so much solo practice. Our USAP Spectrum Division has been in practice for 28 years. We have great financial and practice security due to practice diversity and our maintenance of several exclusive facility contracts. Our payer mix and income are therefore very favorable. We have been engaged in leadership in USAP and predecessor organizations since inception. Further, we have great working relationships and operational/financial integration with many surrounding USAP divisions. We are seeking physicians to be on a Partnership Track. This Track works on a productivity model just like partners. We are very transparent with our financial pedigree with prospective candidates. As a partner, we have great flexibility in the work/lifestyle balance and allow great latitude on taking large amounts of vacation if so desired.
