Job Responsibility + Prepares patients for hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO) treatments and documents treatments in patient care record. + Operates the hyperbaric chamber according to manufacturer guidelines and established regulations. + Takes and records vital signs and/or growth measurements; draws blood; administers EKGs and assists clinical staff with examination and treatment as needed. + Cleans HBO chambers and maintains the orderliness and cleanliness of treatment rooms. + Performs Transcutaneous Oxygen Monitoring; monitors vital signs and patient response during HBO treatments. + Participates in patient education as it relates to hyperbaric therapy. + Participates in quality assurance programs and supports clinical hyperbaric facility accreditation. + Maintains daily and periodic equipment maintenance documentation. + Transports patients to and from the department. + Performs related duties as required. Complete Preventive Maintenance work orders prior to the completion due date. Review maintenance work instructions and modify as needed. Maintain production equipment to run at required specifications. Notify supervision of any PM inadequacies or parts shortages. Coordinate and complete preventive maintenance without impacting production schedule. Conduct general troubleshooting and corrective maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems. Quickly respond to service calls for machine repairs and adjustments. Determine what tools are needed to effectively complete work orders. Determine if the corrective maintenance job is one of a repetitive nature. If so, develop a process to eliminate the reoccurrence. Adhere to FDA regulations, GMP, ISO Standards, and safety protocols.
