The Medical Assistant III provides clinical office support to physicians and surgeons and performs patient care and administrative duties necessary to deliver quality patient care. Focus of tasks include basic rooming of patient, EKGs, Point of Care Testing and documentation in EPIC. Performs patient care under the physician's/nurse's direct supervision. Duties include, but are not limited to; preparing patient for physician, administering, obtaining and recording diagnostic laboratory test results, entering information into the patient's electronic or written chart.
