Calculates nutrient content of tube feeding and dietary intakes as ordered by physicians. 11.Contributes to changes to the patient's menu/nutritional analysis, including patient food preferences, the development of standardized recipes. 12.Prepares, presents, and conducts individual and group education classes, and refers clients to community services, as needed. Participates in and promotes Northwell wellness initiatives. 13.Develops and utilizes effective lines of communication regarding nutrition information within the program and community. 14.Guides and provides in-services to culinary, food service and interdisciplinary teams regarding therapeutic diets and related topics. 15.Participates in Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement related tasks including data collection while executeing and making recommendations on new processes, tools and tasks related to it, as directed. 16.Assists and participates with regulatory compliance. 17.Performs related duties as required.
