: Electrical Commissioning Lead The Electrical Commissioning Lead supports the Commissioning Manager by focusing on the electrical aspects of Owner-Furnished, Contractor-Installed (OFCI) and Contractor-Furnished, Contractor-Installed (CFCI) equipment. This role involves leading electrical trade partners through installation, testing, and integration, ensuring systems such as switchboards, transformers, and UPS meet performance criteria, safety standards, and project timelines while collaborating with mechanical teams and the CxA. Key Responsibilities: Develop, review & execute electrical-specific commissioning procedures, checklists, and test protocols for delivery and pre-functional testing activities, including energization, loop checks, and point-to-point verifications. Assign and oversee energy isolation marshals for electrical activities, enforcing LOTO programs and energization plans to maintain safety. Support the CxA in functional and integrated systems testing for electrical systems, including load simulations and utility shutdown scenarios. Collaborate with the Mechanical Commissioning Lead and Commissioning Manager to ensure interdisciplinary integration, such as UPS with cooling systems. Conduct quality inspections at milestones, review documentation like torque reports and megger tests, and contribute to issue logs for deferred items. Facilitate vendor training on electrical systems and assist in compiling as-built drawings and final reports. Ensure all electrical work adheres to safety protocols, including PPE usage and hazard mitigation. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field or related field experience. 5+ years in electrical commissioning, ideally in projects involving complex electrical systems. In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, SCADA, and testing equipment. Strong leadership, technical troubleshooting, and documentation skills. Proficiency in software tools like Bluebeam, Revit/ACC, AutoCAD, ETAP, and asset management/commissioning platforms. IMMEDIATE HIRING NEED Electrical/Controls Technician Compensation: $80K-90K base + OT opportunities is Located in York, PA Join our operations team as an Electrical/Controls Technician. This role is essential for maintaining, diagnosing, and correcting critical systems that drive our industrial processes. We are looking for self-starting, disciplined technical experts who thrive on troubleshooting complex electromechanical and automated control systems. Responsibilities Perform maintenance and repair on a variety of control systems, including electro/pneumatic/hydraulic/digital/Drive systems. Apply core knowledge of electrical theory (Ohm's law, AC/DC motors) and instrumentation (transmitters, valves, solenoids) to efficiently troubleshoot industrial equipment. Utilize critical thinking to diagnose and correct faults in automated control systems Read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and loop sheets to maintain operational readiness. Operate a range of measuring and test equipment (e.g., voltmeters, oscilloscopes, digital meters) for system diagnostics. Support 24/7 operations and work collaboratively with the maintenance team across different shifts as needed. Ensure adherence to all safety procedures and best practices, including Electrical safe work practices (NFPA-70E). Qualifications Education/Experience: Associate's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent military/technical training, OR a minimum of one year of directly related industrial experience. Technical Acumen: Demonstrated ability to comprehend complex technical instructions, procedural manuals, and engineering drawings. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with proven experience in defining complex problems, collecting data, and drawing valid technical conclusions. Work Ethic: Adaptable and willing to work swing shifts and overtime as required by operational demands. Electrical-Mechanical Maintenance Technician will maintain, diagnose, and repair industrial systems throughout the facility along with performing basic maintenance tasks and completing project work while maintaining safe working conditions and following prescribed safety practices both independently and in a team environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform duties required to install and maintain production machines and facility equipment. Interpret, install, and modify control systems including programmable controllers, drives, etc. Perform mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting and repairs for equipment. Interpret and maintain documents, prints, and schematics. Follow and perform preventive maintenance schedule for equipment. Provide a flexible schedule for unexpected repairs and variations in workload. Research suppliers, contractors, and companies used to repair, replace, and/or manufacture parts including submitting purchase orders. Comply and maintain all Federal, State and Municipal Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 years of mechanical or electrical maintenance experience Able to work overtime on an as needed basis Must exhibit a desire to learn new skills to advance along a maintenance career progression Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. Must be able to push/pull 150 lbs. Must be able to work with Engineering teams to complete projects on time Able to work overtime on an as needed basis Able to evaluate mechanical systems and understand how/why it works Able to multitask and effectively handle multiple assignments through effective project prioritization and time management Ability to troubleshoot basic 3-phase 480/240 volt and single-phase systems Basic machining experience helpful, mills, lathes, band saw, shears, etc. Provide basic mechanics toolbox to complete basic maintenance tasks.
