Must have MN License Must be Certified by the ARRT in computed tomography Must have BLS1) Operates X-ray equipment to produce radiographs of good diagnostic quality; calculates and selects proper technical factors to be used; positions, explains, and instructs patients in procedures being completed; provides protection from excessive radiation exposures by making proper use of collimators and shielding in accordance with prescribed safety standards.2) Makes exams available for interpretation; completes required records, including request forms and report forms. Provides data processing with charge slip/record of each exam performed.3) Assists Radiologist in performing fluoroscopy and special procedure exams. Performs follow-up filming after the Radiologist has completed their portion of the exam. 4) Operates C-arm and/or portable x-ray equipment in surgery during radiology-involved procedures.5) Operates portable x-ray equipment to include completing exams on patient floors and emergency department when necessary.
