Founded in 1923, Northwest Plumbing, Heating & AC has become one of the most trusted residential plumbing, heating and cooling providers in the Quad City area and surrounding communities (see our service area).
Headquartered in the Quad Cities, Northwest Mechanical has grown from its humble beginnings in 1923 to a mechanical contractor trusted by companies around the country.
In 1958, Crombie Service Company (later renamed NorthWest Engineering Service, Inc.) was founded by long-time friends Allen Crombie and Gene Garoutte.
1960: Crombie Service Co. lands large Lloyd Center construction project – their “big break”
1978: Three plenum mixing dampers installed on multi-zone unit at Arlington Club
2010: Air Introduction & Regulation, Inc. purchased, expanding footprint to Eugene
2014: Ro-Bar Technical Services purchased, expanding footprint to Boise
