Northwest Mississippi Community College (NMCC) offers comprehensive
academics for students wishing to go on to a four-year degree as well as
numerous career training programs. Located in Senatobia, Mississippi with additional campuses throughout the
state, NMCC offers over 80 academic and professional programs. Academics
are divided into various divisions including the division of business,
the division of education, the division of fine arts and the division of
social sciences. Career and technical programs include majors in Agriculture, Aviation
Technology, Commercial Truck Driving, Emergency Medical Services,
Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Paralegal Studies, Surgical
Technology, Cosmetology and Practical Nursing. Student life includes numerous activities including drive-in movie nights
and music, theatre and comedy performances. Student organizations include
more than 40 academic, creative, Greek and special interest groups and
clubs. While NMCC has an open admissions policy, there are certain requirements
including submission of an application and transcripts. Students who
didn't graduate from high school or receive a GED who meet certain
criteria may apply for special admissions. Tuition is lower for in-state residents and financial aid is available to
