Sugarloaf is looking for a motivated and service oriented leader to join our Food and Beverage Team as our 45 North Restaurant Manager. This position oversees the daily operations of 45 North, the full-service restaurant located in the Sugarloaf Mountain Hotel and requires a hands on management style to support and direct team members in the dining room, bar, and kitchen. This role will also be responsible for overseeing in-room dining in the hotel as well as assisting with catered events at the resort. Candidates must have a passion for the food & beverage industry and have a desire to create the ultimate dining experience.

Lead the 45 North Team in providing consistently outstanding guest experiences.
Identify opportunities to increase profits and create value by challenging existing processes, encouraging innovation and driving necessary change.
Improve service by communicating and assisting individuals to understand guest needs, providing guidance, feedback, and individual coaching when needed.
Manage the profitability of the restaurant and all related controllable items, (including but not limited to beer, liquor and wine cost of goods, labor, supplies, R&M, comps and voids) to maximize profitability on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Conduct such functions as interviewing, hiring, employee orientation, performance appraisals, coaching, and counseling to ensure appropriate staffing and productivity.
Work with the Resort Executive Chef on pricing and preparation of menus, beverage and wine lists
Take ownership of any guest issues until resolved
Identify the developmental needs of others and coach, mentor, or otherwise help others to improve their knowled
