As a Housekeeper, you are responsible for the cleanliness of common areas and cleaning in resident care areas. You provide industry-leading care and compassion in daily interaction with residents and their families. Requirements
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Skills: Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner
Years of Experience: Prior housekeeping experience preferred
Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods; Be able to easily lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities:
Provide 5-Star service to our lovely residents!
Follow cleaning schedule (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.) as outlined for the ESS Department. Cleans assigned areas, furnishing and fixtures according to established procedures.
Clean floors: Dry mop, wet mop, sweep, disinfect where and when necessary. Vacuum carpeting/rugs and spot clean.
Move and clean furnishings and fixtures including but not limited to dusting, spot cleaning, and washing. Disinfect when necessary and polish where required.
Clean bathrooms (private and public). Clean and disinfect all fixtures, floors and walls as directed. Washes windows and mirrors. Replenishes public bathroom supplies (soap, tissue, etc.)
Clean offices, dining rooms, break rooms, laundry rooms, Health Center resident rooms, rooms, resident apartments, storage rooms, halls, stairways, entrances and exits.
Perform cleaning duties according to established procedures in resident rooms when resident has been discharged or transferred.
Empty, clean, and reline wastebaskets.
Perform cleaning duties in isolation units.
Perform emergency housekeeping when accidents occur, including but not limited to bodily fluid clean up.
Qualification:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must have the ability to follow written and/or oral instructions and understand concepts of measurements.

Make Each Room a Home: By providing housekeeping services for residents, you make each area a comfortable, clean, and cozy place to live.
Be the Master of the Mise en Scne: From behind the scenes, you ensure each area, from the lobby to the employee break room, is tidy and clean, with everything in its place.
What are we looking for?
You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
You shall have a high school diploma, or equivalent.
You can read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency with our Residents!
You will have a positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents!
You should be professional in appearance and conduct.
You must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
You must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds and push/pull a wheeled housekeeping cart.
Be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks. Good physical health shall be verified by a health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days following employment.
