Position Information:
NWHSU is seeking an enthusiastic adjunct faculty member to support and deliver Biochemistry lab instruction in our College of Chiropractic program. This role is integral to ensuring that course delivery aligns with established objectives and program standards while fostering a high-quality learning experience for our students. The adjunct faculty member will be responsible for providing student assessment and supportive feedback, communicating in a timely manner, and promoting student involvement utilizing creative and novel means of education. We are looking for a passionate educator who is committed to student success and excited to help prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals.
This is a part-time, non-benefits eligible, adjunct faculty position.
Work Location: Bloomington, MN in person
Course Assignment Specifics: Biochemistry Lab (1.67 credits total). This is an established course/lab. Syllabus and course content already created.
Duties:
Deliver in person and/or online lab sessions and follow standardized lab content to ensure consistency between lab sections, the lecture, and course objectives/competencies
Engage in regular and substantive interaction with students in ways that supports learning in the lab
Provides students with timely and clear feedback
Assign grades based on grading policies outlined in the syllabus and student performance on assessments
What you need to have?
Master's degree in Biochemistry or similar area, required
Doctorate degree, preferred
Professional license (DC, LAc, MT, etc), preferred
Teaching experience in higher education, preferred
Clinical experience, preferred
Knowledge of biochemical processes and reagent preparation; use of standard biochemical tools and apparatus are required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills

The hiring rate reflects a candidate with a master's degree and at least 5+ semesters of college-level teaching experience. Saint Mary's University is seeking a MSW Field Education Coordinator. This position works within a community of professionals dedicated to providing relevant, rigorous, and relational experiences for adult learners. This position collaborates with social work faculty and administration to support masters social work students in field education. Field education is the signature pedagogy of the social work profession. Saint Mary's master's level generalist students complete a minimum of 400 hours of field education, and master's level clinical students complete a minimum of 500 hours as part of the University's social work programs.
The MSW Field Education Coordinator position member works with students in identifying appropriate field placements nationwide. This position is responsible for managing students' field placement site and site supervisor selection with approval from the Field Education Director. This position also advises students about the field process, supports students during the interviewing, selection, and matching process. This position also helps identify, recruit and screen potential field sites and provides guidance to field agency staff and MSW field supervisors.
The MSW Field Education Coordinator position collaborates with the Field Education Director to provide oversight to the pre-field education component of the online Masters of Social Work program based out of our Minneapolis campus. This position will work collaboratively with the Field Education Director in identifying new field placements throughout the United States and maintaining working relationships with already established ones. This position works directly with social work students to ensure they are completing prefield tasks (prefield calls, updating resumes, securing malpractice insurance, completing HIPAA training, etc.) and successfully securing placements with organizations that meet Saint Mary's and the Council on Social Work Education's standards for field education. The MSW Field Coordinator Position member will have the option to teach field seminars on a course-contracted basis.
This position is supervised directly by the MSW Field Education Director. They will work with the MSW Field Education Director and the MSW Field Education Specialists. Some travel may be required

Main Duties & Responsibilities
Review and analyze financial aid application data to determine accurate and compliant financial aid award packages. Modify financial aid packages based on changes in enrollment level, budget adjustments, additional aid, etc., and communicate changes in eligibility to students.
Manage specific required processes within the office, such as the origination and disbursement of Federal Direct, MN SELF, and private student loans. Coordinate disbursement processes and expedite electronic return of funds, reallocations or corrections. Ensure that the administration of the loan programs complies with federal and state regulations.
Transmit Direct Loan data files using EDConnect and Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) systems; ensure timely and accurate data transmissions, so that federal compliance standards are met.
Utilize knowledge of federal, state, and institutional aid programs and processes to counsel students (in person, in writing, and over the phone) about the financial aid process, award packages, billing statements, and financial planning for their educational expenses.
Work in conjunction with Business Office, Registrar, Student Central, Academic Advising, and other student services areas to resolve students' issues.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable federal, state, and institutional regulations and standards to ensure compliance.
Actively participate in continual growth of the financial aid department: effectively managing assigned duties using a variety of technological resources; promoting a student-oriented financial aid office, etc.

The position reviews financial aid applications to determine financial aid award packages using federal methodology. Review and analyze financial aid application data to determine accurate and compliant financial aid award packages. Modify financial aid packages based on changes in enrollment level, budget adjustments, additional aid, etc., and communicate changes in eligibility to students.
Utilize knowledge of federal, state, and institutional aid programs and processes to counsel students (in person, in writing, and over the phone) about the financial aid process, award packages, billing statements, and financial planning for their educational expenses.
Oversee the origination and disbursement of Federal Grants, Federal Direct, State Grants, Scholarships, MN SELF, and private student loans. Coordinate disbursement processes and expedite electronic return of funds, reallocations, or corrections. Ensure that the administration of all fund programs complies with federal and state regulations.
Transmit Direct Loan data files using EDConnect and Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) systems; ensure timely and accurate data transmissions, so that federal compliance standards are met.
Perform return to Title IV funds (R2T4s). Identify students who have officially and unofficially withdrawn/dropped from all or some classes, perform necessary calculations for federal, state, and institutional rules, execute refunds and adjustments to aid in student information systems, EDConnect, and COD systems. Notify the student of the outcome and exit counseling requirements.
Work in conjunction with the Business Office, Registrar, Student Central, Academic Advising, and other student services areas to resolve students' issues.
Assist in annual compliance audits, projects, and institutional initiatives throughout the year.
Maintain current knowledge of applicable federal, state, and institutional regulations and standards to ensure compliance.

Are you a passionate Massage Therapist looking to grow your career in a dynamic, integrative care setting? Join us at the NWHSU Bloomington Clinic-Northwestern Health Sciences University's largest and most established clinic, with over 30 years of providing exceptional, patient-centered care. By conducting initial assessments and reviewing patient history, you will work with clients to define health goals and provide therapeutic massage care. This role also includes clinical assisting duties, including creating smooth patient workflow by assisting providers, rooming patients, maintaining OSHA cleaning standards, and educating patients per providers instructions. This is a unique opportunity to work with a diverse client base and collaborate alongside a multidisciplinary team of experienced providers.
This position is a part time, benefits eligible role, working 20-29 hours per week; potential for hours to grow as demand increases.
Work Location: Bloomington, MN in-person
Massage Therapist Duties:
Manages client care with the approved policies and procedures of the NWHSU clinic system and within clinical scope of practice.
Provide the highest quality care possible utilizing evidence informed practices and assist each patient to reach their goals while maintaining a strong provider/client relationship ensuring client satisfaction.
Discipline appropriate initial assessment of client based on history and observations.
Monitors client progress and ensures appropriate follow-up care.
Refer clients to internal or external healthcare professions as necessary and indicated by clinical findings.
Complete all necessary client documentation in a timely manner, according to clinic policy.
Conduct informed consent with each new clients prior to treatment and on an annual basis.
Participate in public speaking, community event activities, and/or publish articles in newspaper/media sources for purposes of increasing patient utilization of University clinics.
Attend meetings and required clinic in services i.e.: coding and documentation; HIPAA training; CPR; blood-borne pathogen, etc.
Maintain licensure.
What you need to have?
High school diploma or GED plus completion of an accredited massage therapy program.
1-3 years experience working in clinical settings.
Eligible to sit for Board Certification in Therapeutic Massage and Body Work exam, required.
Certified in Craniosacral Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage, Shiatsu, and CPR/BLS, preferred.

Position Information:
NWHSU's Human Performance Center is seeking a Chiropractic Clinical Resident, named as Foot Levelers Resident, to serve as a lower extremity expert on campus in the field of sports and performance. The resident will play an active role in supporting and developing a Foot Levelers, Inc. (FLI) Student Club on campus, coordinating guest lectures and speaking opportunities for Foot Levelers Education Department staff and visiting FLI liaisons. Additional duties include supervising interns, offering consulting to faculty and other clinicians, as well as designing and teaching courses on the topics of sports and performance. We are seeking someone who can act as a campus expert in functional orthopedics and foot stabilization, while fostering a student-centered learning environment through supervision, education, and professional collaboration.
This is a .75 FTE, 30 hours per week, benefits eligible opportunity. The duration of this residency is expected to be one year with the possibility of renewal for a second year. Due to the nature of the position some late afternoons, early evenings and occasional Saturdays are expected covering athletic games and supervision.

Duties:
Attend Foot Levelers meetings, calls, training events and participate in the Foot Levelers College Liaison virtual training program.
Demonstrate the concept, clinical procedure, health benefits, and/or therapeutic exercises using FLI products.
Lead and coordinate orthotics research projects in the HPC.
Supervision of clinical interns while providing clinical services to our Human Performance constituents in the field.
Care delivery in the public or Team Clinic; performing examinations, developing treatment plans and providing care.

Make sure that Foot Levelers displays and point of purchase materials are stocked.
Maintain Foot Levelers scanners and rehabilitation equipment.

What you need to have?
