Faculty will report to the Department Chair for the implementation of the approved curriculum based on the mission and philosophy of the Health Sciences and Nursing Department at Eastern. The position is a nine-month salaried contractual position starting in August 2025. The teaching load for this position is 12 credits per semester. The successful candidate will provide students with opportunities to acquire the knowledge and practice the skills identified in course objectives using varied and appropriate teaching methods. Faculty in the Department of Health Sciences and Nursing must also participate in the program evaluation and continuous improvement process and engage in personal professional development. Essential Responsibilities
Oversee, day-to-day administrative functions and general office duties for assigned Metro Clinics.
Ensure the front desk and aides are staffed appropriately to support assigned clinics.
Train and onboard staff on all systems and procedures.
Disciplinary action for employees (FD, Aides)
Employee time cards approvals/monitoring, and PTO review, Call Outs and coverage plans to ensure office is appropriate staffed and operational
Collaborate with therapists and staff to ensure the best possible outcome for the office.
Effectively communicate expectations of administrative procedures of the role
Ensuring staff is knowledgeable of and performing standard operating procedures.
Maintains strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.
Point of contact for all clinic complaints, issues, customer service line items
"Face" of the clinic support team, for communications and clinic pulse checks and resolution
Internal customer service rep for all assigned office locations- staff, directors, therapists, aides, front desk, etc.
Weekly visits and touchbases for 10+ clinics
Handle patient concerns and escalations
Performs other duties and assignments as required.

Position Summary:
The CT Community College system offers two-year liberal arts degree programs and a broad range of career, occupational and technical certificate and non-credit programs in order to meet the varied learning needs of the populations served. Minimum Qualifications:Master's degree in Nursing or a field related with one (1) or more years of experience in a related field; or a combination of education, training and experience which would lead to the competencies required for successful performance of the position's essential duties.
Incumbents are required to have demonstrated advanced knowledge and abilities in the following:
Professional competence in Nursing.
Must hold a current CT license in Nursing.
Clinical instruction and course design, including simulation.
Methods of testing and assessing student performance in clinical settings.
Comprehensive familiarity with accreditation requirements in assigned disciplines.
Candidates must possess proven ability to effectively work with culturally, linguistically, and ethnically diverse faculty, staff, and students. They are expected to have excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills along with strong Information technology literacy skills such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
Two (2) years or more years of acute care medical-surgical Nursing practice.
One (1) year of simulation experience
Experience working in higher education
One (1) or more years teaching in a nursing program.
Two (2) or more years of teaching Clinical Nursing
Starting Salary:
Minimum Salary range: $74,604 to $79,609, approximately annual plus excellent State of CT medical insurance, retirement, and related fringe benefits. The salary will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications, such as education and job-related experience, and internal equity.

Seasonal Commitment:
June-August | Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-4:00 PM (Some schedule flexibility available)
Behavior Technicians:
Support campers across a variety of settings by promoting positive behavior, modeling inclusion strategies, and working directly with camp staff. You'll help foster a safe, structured, and fun camp experience for all campers.
Qualifications:
Must be 18+
At least 1 year of experience working with children in a camp, school, or related setting
Strong communication skills and a calm, team-oriented approach
Inclusion Paraprofessionals:
Work one-on-one or in small groups with campers who need additional support. You'll develop individualized plans, collaborate with staff, and maintain close communication with families to ensure campers are fully included and successful.
Qualifications:
Associate or bachelor's degree in education, psychology, social work, or related field
2-3 years of experience in special education, behavioral support, or inclusive programming
Experience in developing and implementing individualized plans and engaging with parents/caregivers
Knowledge of inclusive practices, SEL, and behavior intervention strategies
