1881

In 1881, our town was developed.

1883

Our school was established in 1883.

In 1883 Norwood's first school was built.

1887

In 1887, the people of Norwood raised bonds so they could build a second school.

1889

In 1889 the town’s first high school was built, located on a hill at the corner of Beacon and Bullard Streets, behind the Morrill Memorial Library.

1920

A new school was built in 1920.

1928

In 1928, our town built a gym at present site.

1949

In 1949, the state mandated that schools needed to be reorganized.

1950

1950's Economic growth, population increase, the Automile

1975

The high school was built in 1975.

1985

The brick school was built in 1985, the same year the gym burned down.

1986

In 1986, a new shop was built.

1999

The new high school was built in 1999.
