I earned my political science degree from North Central College and my MBA from the University of Notre Dame. Following my undergraduate degree, I was recruited by the National Security Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation where I specialized in counterterrorism and foreign counterintelligence. During my tenure, I was assigned to work the FBI’s most sensitive international terrorism and espionage cases. In addition, I am a decorated military veteran who served my country in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, in the early 1990s.

Subsequent to the FBI, I spent many years in banking and finance where my skills led me to the field of global operational risk management. I have over 26 years of banking, finance and investigative experience- a number of those years dedicated to the anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (AML/CTF) effort.

In July 2011, I joined Notre Dame Federal Credit Union and currently serve as their Chief Risk and Compliance Officer. In March 2015, I created Compliance Advisory Services, LLC, a wholly owned CUSO of Notre Dame Federal Credit Union and served as the firm’s President through October 2021.

Moreover, I am a professional member of the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists, having earned my CAMS designation in December 2007 and CAMS-Audit in November 2013. In addition, I am a National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Unions Certified Compliance Officer (NCCO) and speak nationally on a number of topics including BSA, AML, enterprise risk management, cybersecurity and strategy.

Eric Rauch is a VP:Finance at Teachers Federal Credit Union and Chief Financial Officer at Notre Dame Federal Credit Union and is based in Notre Dame, Indiana. He has experience at 1st Source Insurance and has worked as CFO at Inova FCU and Chief Financial Officer at Teachers Federal Credit Union.
