Schedule & Shift Expectations
Clinics operate seven days per week with the following hours:
* Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
* Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Part-time providers are required to work a minimum of 4 shifts per month. Shifts are typically 10-12 hours, depending on clinic needs and day of the week. Schedules are coordinated in advance to support flexibility while ensuring appropriate coverage.
Providers must be able to work occasional weekends and holidays; the frequency of these shifts will depend on facility assignment and scheduling needs.
Providers are assigned a primary (home) clinic at NextCare Urgent Care - Cedar Park (Austin, TX). Occasional floating to nearby NextCare clinics within the Austin market may be required to support coverage needs.
Highly Preferred Qualifications
* At least 1 year of urgent care, ER fast-track, or walk-in clinic experience
* Comfort with initial X-ray interpretation prior to radiologist over-read
* Strong procedural skills, including suturing and minor procedures
* Ability to practice independently in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
* Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with clinical best practices in an urgent care and/or occupational health setting

Qualifications
* Bachelors' degree in Nursing or related health field from an accredited college or university
* Master's Degree in nursing or related health field from an accredited college or university
* Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
* Current licensed nurse practitioner in the state where employed and in accordance with state laws of practice
* Must maintain work state nurse practitioner licensure throughout the course of employment
* Customarily has at least two years of demonstrated experience in occupational medicine, urgent care or an emergency setting

Responsibilities
Performs medical assessments of Center patients
Establishes and monitors a medically appropriate level of care for Center patients
Maintain clinical core competency
Work with Chief Medical Officer and Regional Medical Directors to ensure operations are consistent with medical policy and professional standards of Nova Medical Centers
Collaboration with center leadership team to positively impact quality of care, client and patient satisfaction and center performance
Qualifications
Current State PhysicianAssistant or Nurse Practitioners Licensure
Eagerness and ability to become a Practice Builder
Current state licensure
Current DEA licensure.
State Controlled Substance Licensure, if required by State Law
Experienced in UC, ER, FP, ER, IM. Ortho experience preferred
Experience/ability to suture
Experience/ ability to read x-rays and ability to diagnose Ortho related injuries
Authorized to work in the USA
Ability to work in a cooperative, multidiscipline setting
Excellent communication skills and a team player mindset
