The Early Childhood Specialist Floater provides classroom and instructional support across multiple classrooms in all three BRCA Childcare Centers: Northside Children's Learning Center (Lenoir), Circle of Friends Child Development Center (Rutherford College), and Quaker Meadows Generations Center (Morganton) Serving children from birth to age five. This position ensures continuity of care and learning by filling in during staff absences, assisting teachers, and maintaining compliance with all program standards. The Floater adapts quickly to different age groups, classrooms, and center environments while creating nurturing, developmentally appropriate experiences for children and supporting families in line with Blue Ridge Community Action's mission. Specific Job Duties Implement and support curriculum plans with activities appropriate to the age and ability level of assigned groups. Provide classroom support as needed across Northside (Lenoir), Circle of Friends (Rutherford College), and Quaker Meadows Generations (Morganton) childcare centers.
