This role supports revenue cycle operations by managing claim edits, resubmissions, and account follow-ups while providing excellent billing-related customer service. Key Responsibilities: Review, correct, and resolve claim edits in Epic to ensure clean claim submission Process claim resubmission requests, including corrections and documentation, in Epic Manage and work accounts with DNB/DNFB statuses to prevent billing delays Respond to billing customer service requests from patients, payers, and internal teams Research billing discrepancies and ensure compliance with payer and regulatory requirements Maintain accurate documentation and follow established billing workflows Qualifications & Skills: Experience working with Epic billing modules preferred Knowledge of medical billing processes and insurance claim workflows Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Effective communication and customer service abilities Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Education: High School or GED required. Experience: Work experience in medical billing or hospital coding, claims processor- preferably medical claims for an insurance carrier, or Clerical/Billing experience in a medical office, required. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Certified Medical Billing/Coding, preferred.
