The Production Technician is a position that is responsible for technical and general labor in and around the manufacturing plant and warehouse. The weekly work hours are generally 40+ hours per week. Work hours can be variable and usually involve working nights and weekends. Holiday work is required. The individual must have the ability to lift 70 pounds safely, be capable of standing, bending, and lifting for up to 12 hours per day, see (near acuity and far acuity) climb stairs often, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously with or without reasonable accommodations. The environment is loud, gets hot during the summer and cold during the winter, and can have strong smells.
Responsibilities include rotating between multiple positions. You will be in each position for a full day before rotating to the next position. How often you do each position in the rotation will depend on business need, personal interest, and capability. Positions include operating box folding equipment, maintaining general housekeeping, hand packing bags of chips into boxes, sorting and stacking boxes, sanitizing packaging equipment or facilities, and other duties as assigned.
This is an opportunity to work as an area owner, so you will be expected to own your tasks for the day and make decision to drive the business forward. You will also have line specialists, trainers, and managers who will support you.

Summary
EBAD is seeking an experienced assembly Technical Lead to support our high-mix, low volume NEA electro-mechanical assembly product line. The Technical Lead will manage the production assembly activities for the assembly of NEA products. This position will report directly to the Production Supervisor.

Lead all production assembly activities including in-process and acceptance testing for assigned work cells.

Participate in Manufacturing Readiness Reviews (MRR) with Engineering.

Qualifications:
Minimum five years' experience in assembling and testing of electro-mechanical assemblies.
High school diploma or general education degree; Associate's degree in a technical field is preferred but not required.
Prior experience and/or certifications in the follow areas is preferred: Cleanroom assembly environment, IPC-A-620 cable and wire harness fabrication, NASA STD 8739.4 crimping, or IPC/EIA-J-STD-001 Space Addendum.
