The person in this role will report to Engineering, Maintenance, Reliability and Automation (EMRA) Leader. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of the Electrical Engineering function, such as design, maintenance, construction, and installation of equipment modifications. With the opportunity to work with every type of machinery that you can envision, you will develop effective solutions to problems arising with the plant equipment. Responsibilities: Solve encounters centered around meeting production needs in the face of tight, frequently revised schedules and/or equipment failures, the start-up of new equipment, development of new products and processes. Optimize equipment utilization and efficiency by applying the latest development in machine procedures, diagnostic equipment, and more reliable electrical components. Develop practical solutions to repetitive equipment failure problems that contribute to the effectiveness of the maintenance effort. Contribute engineering expertise to project work and selection of replacement or new equipment to help ensure consistency and standardization of components and ease of maintenance. Ensure all equipment recommended, repaired, or modified meets all company and governmental safety and health rules and regulations to help ensure safety and wellbeing of employees. Assist in the development of engineering or maintenance procedures and repair work to ensure they are safe, effective, and efficient. Expand, continually, knowledge of engineering and maintenance principals and practice. Caveney Innovation Center, including access to some of the most advanced testing labs in the world Contributing from day 1 as a member of our team Working with project leads and seeing your product go through the entire development process, from concept to high volume production What You Will Do Assist in the design, development, and testing of new products using all aspects of the product development process, including competitive analysis, project planning, product innovation, resource and cost estimating, scheduling and budget planning. Coordinate with Product Management to create specifications for new products with customer input. Provide engineering support for existing product lines by responding to customer technical inquiries, addressing quality concerns, ensuring regulatory and environmental compliance, handling product application issues/questions, collaborating with manufacturing cells to improve efficiency or lower production costs, and providing general technical support to handle the day to day business needs. What You Will Bring Pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering with at least Junior status Proficiency in: Transmission line theory Time domain reflectometry Crosstalk phenomenon Signal integrity Electromagnetic theory Differential transmission lines Familiarity with engineering tools, such as: Circuit schematic software (ex. LT Spice) PCB layout software (ex. Altium, Mentor Graphics PADS) Electromagnetic simulation software (ex.
