In this highly visible and critical role, the Vice President of Maintenance provides executive-level leadership and strategic direction for all maintenance operations across a diverse real estate, retail, hospitality, and fleet portfolio. Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Facilities Leadership
Provide overall leadership for maintenance operations across construction, c-store/fuel, casino, restaurant, building maintenance, and fleet environments.
Establish and enforce maintenance standards, quality benchmarks, and operational performance metrics across all sites.
Oversee preventative and predictive maintenance programs to maximize asset uptime, reliability, and lifecycle value.
Ensure all facilities systems-including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fuel systems, refrigeration, and life-safety-operate at optimal performance and meet regulatory requirements.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve operational safety.
Construction & New Build Oversight
Oversee maintenance-related planning and execution for construction, remodels, new builds, and c-store developments.
Partner with development, engineering, and operations teams to ensure proper design, equipment selection, and long-term maintainability of new facilities.
Support construction commissioning processes to ensure facilities and equipment are delivered to operational readiness standards.
Fleet Maintenance
Manage the maintenance strategy for company vehicles and equipment to ensure compliance, safety, uptime, and cost efficiency.
Develop fleet renewal strategies, maintenance schedules, and operational controls aligned with organizational goals.
P&L Ownership & Financial Leadership
Own and manage departmental P&L, ensuring financial performance aligns with annual budgetary goals.
Prepare and present financial reporting, capital planning, forecasting, and long-term maintenance investment strategies.
Identify opportunities to reduce cost, improve ROI, and streamline maintenance spend across facilities, equipment, and fleet.
Vendor & Contract Management
Lead vendor selection, contract negotiation, and ongoing performance management for maintenance, construction, and service partners.
Evaluate vendor capabilities, pricing, service quality, SLAs, compliance, and long-term value.
Maintain strong relationships with utility providers, equipment suppliers, engineering partners, and regulatory agencies.
Utilities & Facilities Equipment Oversight
Oversee strategy and usage optimization for all utilities (electric, gas, water, fuel, HVAC systems, etc.).
Ensure critical equipment-generators, refrigeration, fuel systems, commercial kitchen equipment, building automation systems-is properly maintained, cost-effective, and fully compliant.
Strategic Planning & Organizational Leadership
Develop and execute both short- and long-term maintenance strategies aligned with company growth, new store development, and operational priorities.
Drive operational readiness for expansions, acquisitions, and remodels.
Lead risk mitigation efforts tied to asset failures, regulatory compliance, and operational disruptions.
Serve as strategic advisor to the President, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
Team Leadership & Staff Development
Lead, mentor, and develop a geographically dispersed maintenance team, including managers, supervisors, technicians, and administrative staff.
Foster a culture of accountability, safety, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
Implement workforce planning, training programs, and career development paths to strengthen organizational capability.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field required.
Advanced degree strongly preferred (MBA, MS Engineering, or similar).
10-15+ years progressive leadership experience in maintenance or facilities management with multi-site exposure.
Proven experience in construction, new build oversight, c-store/fuel operations, casinos, restaurants, and/or complex hospitality environments.
Strong background in P&L ownership, budgeting, financial reporting, and capital planning.
Demonstrated success in vendor/contract negotiation, utilities management, and large-scale facilities equipment oversight.

Responsibilities
Develop an understanding of the electrical project scope, quality requirements, quality plan, and quality documents pertaining to the assigned scope of work including applicable codes and standards.
Coordinate with operations to schedule and perform quality inspections and tests to maintain production goals.
Prepare inspection/test reports and maintain the quality files related to area of responsibility.
Verify inspection and test compliance with applicable contract documents, codes, and standards.
Correctly interpret and utilize codes and industry standards to determine compliance of the work.
Assist the project team with completion of required test documentation.
Organize quality documents and store per the company and project document management procedures.
Identify, report, and correct nonconforming work in accordance with the company quality standards and the Project Quality Plan.
Perform receiving inspection of permanent materials and plant equipment for project requirements as needed.
Be involved in and provide quality input to task planning meetings.
Examine/inspect field conditions and identify problems, inaccuracies, and cost saving measures that arise or that may be encountered. Take corrective actions as needed.
Identify safety hazards you or other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective actions to eliminate or minimize hazards.
Understand and respond appropriately to all safety hazards and warning devices (i.e. back-up alarms, smell of smoke, different colored warning tags, warning sirens)
Understand and implement lockout/tagout procedures in safe manner.
Qualifications
5+ years working in the industrial electrical industry.
Experience maintaining effective communications (both orally and written) with supervisor, coworkers, and the project management team.
Experience developing strong working relationship with supervisor, coworkers, and the project management team.
Electrical code and standards knowledge
Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Must be a self-starter, be organized, and have good interpersonal skills.
Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Ability to lift up to fifty pounds, unassisted, as required.
Ability to work from various heights via ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and other safe work platforms and area when necessary.

What you will do
Under minimal supervision, conducts preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning and general servicing of systems (including detailed troubleshooting of systems). The P-card (Procurement Card) and expense report administrator is an intermediate-level position responsible for managing the procurement card program and expense reporting system within the organization, which includes managing cardholder accounts and monitoring card usage. This role will also be responsible for the setup of new accounts, processing applications, resolving issues and discrepancies, and reviewing the expense reports for accuracy. WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Setting up new cardholder accounts to include emailing new and/or replacement cardholders of arrival, distribution of card (USPS, FedEx, Inter-office)
Initiate and process P-card deactivation procedures for employee separations, transfers, or non-compliance with policy
Managing cardholder profiles: spend limits, restrictions, increases, and holds
Processing of applications, ensuring proper authorization and internal webinar has been completed
Reconciling the monthly statement against Concur transactional data and payment, along with statement/invoice entry
Prepare the monthly managers' report and send it to the applicable division managers
Ensure cardholders adhere to the P-card policy
Work closely with the A/P team to monitor card usage is within regulations and guidelines
Offer ongoing support to all cardholders regarding questions raised: i.e. card balances, declined charges, increase/decrease of spend limits
Daily auditing and processing of expense reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance to the company expense policy
Responsible for addressing any issues and discrepancies related to expense reports
Provide ongoing support to employees on the expense report process, i.e. submissions, documentation required, approvals, payment dates
Administrative tasks such as mail, phone calls, scheduling meetings and maintaining records
Ad-hoc projects related to the expense report system, policy and management
Provide support to the A/P team with a focus on check requests and/or urgent invoices
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
At least 2 years' experience in corporate card program administration, expense management or financial operations
Participation in improvement processes and various projects
Proficient with MS Office, Oracle, Fusion, Concur and banks
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with limited supervision
Strong organizational, analytical and decision-making skills
