About this Role
FiberTel is looking for a Vac Truck Operator for our Springville, UT location.
The Vac Truck Operator will be responsible for the safe transportation of the vac truck to and from the sites. The Operator will also operate the machine in a safe and skillful manner. The preferred applicant will help the team as needed in all capacities to successfully complete the job and will preform any additional duties as directed by the foreman. This is a pipeline position and will be a part of said crew.
What You'll Do
Position Responsibilities:
Operate all heavy machinery in a safe manner
Drive vehicle in safe manner following all rules of the road
Follow all on-site safety procedures
Ensure contents & equipment are properly secured during transportation
Comply with all DOT regulations and rules
Perform daily vehicle pre-trip inspections and JHA
What You'll Bring
Position Qualifications:
Possess a valid CDL class A
Experience operating a vac truck
Clean driving record (no more than 2 tickets in the last 5 years)
Strong focus on quality and safety
Excellent time management skills

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time hourly position, expected to work at least 40 hours per week. This position operates in an outdoor environment and is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions including; extreme cold, rain, sleet, snow, humidity, high temperatures, and high wind. The outside work environment will vary throughout the day including changes in terrain, traffic, urban settings, and/or rural settings. This position may occasionally be exposed to natural gas and to the risk of electrical shock. Exposure to moderate to loud noise levels.
Physical Requirements:
The employee will need to have the ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 12 hours at a time), tolerate work in extreme weather conditions, speak and hear worksite safety instructions, withstand prolonged and repeated: lifting, standing, climbing, kneeling, reaching and feeling, crouching, and crawling. The employee will need to be able to regularly lift 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Transport high quality precast/prestress products that meet engineering and NPCA specifications
Safely and efficiently transports products to a variety of job sites and environments
Assist forklift/crane operator in loading concrete products for delivery
Ensure products are properly secured for transportation
Follow company and DOT safety regulations
Assist contractors with unloading of product as needed
To ensure timely deliveries, follow predetermined routes
Utilize ELD to document daily vehicle and safety inspections and other required maintenance tasks

Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment before leaving the facility and/or job sites

Austin Powder is seeking to hire a full-time CDL-A Driver to join our team our team at our Red Diamond manufacturing Plant in McArthur, Ohio. This CDL-A Driver will be responsible for transporting materials between Austin Powder and customer sites
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for loading, transporting and unloading materials from trailers and tankers to and from specified destinations. CDL-A Driver will be part of a driver team of two and drive a company provided semi-tractor with sleeper. Single driver spots come available at times.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must satisfactorily perform each of the essential functions, duties, and responsibilities listed below.
Drives and/or operates truck for delivery across United States. Less frequent are possible Canada deliveries.
Unload tankers into storage bin at customer using onboard pump.
Pulls/loads/unloads/counts inventory both pre- and post-trip.
Completes pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and reports maintenance requirements to manager.
Follows the direction of the Transportation Dispatcher at the job site.
Develops and maintains positive work relationships with co-workers, customers, vendors and government agencies.
Displays work behaviors that are honest and ethical in pursuit of APC business goals.
SAFETY & COMPLIANCE:
Complies with APC inventory management procedures.
Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by assuring regulatory compliance at the location, at customer sites, and during transit.
