Job Summary:
The Digital Communications Manager within the Program Support Team delivers value to internal and external customers by providing operational expertise and support to implement new products and services, optimize existing processes, and resolve customer issues. The team partners closely with Marketing to drive successful product launches, while ensuring operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Additionally, the team fosters strategic partnerships with IT, Legal, Regulatory, Customer Care, Mass Operations, and external vendors to achieve business objectives across Residential, Small Business, Builder/Multi-Family, and Home Solar markets.
In this role, the Digital Communications Manager is accountable for email production and execution, HTML coding and troubleshooting, automation setup, and performing daily quality assurance reviews and deployments of e-communications. This individual will liaise with internal stakeholders and external clients to understand the requirements for each communication; participate in creative discussions; and execute e-communications with a high degree of accuracy. This role requires knowledge of email applications and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. In this role, the Digital Communications Manager must possess the skills and expertise to address and resolve issues across multiple cross-functional groups effectively. This role also works closely with third-party vendors to deliver pertinent communications to our customers each day.

Minimum Requirements:

* Proven track record of managing successful email campaigns.

* Generate high-quality market intelligence through:
* Startup-specific memos and updates

Regional Safety Manager- Generation (Houston/Pittsburgh)
Job Summary/Purpose
All members of NRG's safety function will be expected to own safety, work to prevent incidents and seek to improve with the understanding that zero harm is possible. What you'll do:
Work on energized equipment up to 260 volts. After six months in classification, employee shall assist in work on conductors and equipment energized at voltages above 750 volts with direct supervision or assistance of personnel in higher classification.

Use voltmeters, ohmmeters, ammeters, insulation meggers and other test equipment associated with station work.
Assist in disassembling and reassembling, inspecting, maintenance, and repairing of station transformers, circuit breakers, portable substations, rotating machinery, network protectors and transformers, air ducts and heat exchangers; install and maintain station batteries; replace nitrogen bottles and air filters.
Assist in station work such as installing conduit, pipe, cable and wire; use hand lines to pass tools and materials; dig and backfill trenches; remove and spread stone; uncrate equipment and material; install and remove portable substation fences, barriers and safety signs; paint structures and equipment; climb station structures.
Use various kinds of tapes, insulating materials, protective and insulating paints and varnishes, and understand proper application of each.
Assist in making visual inspections such as check lights, heaters, circuit breaker counters, oil levels, and bus connections; read gauges such as voltmeters, ammeters, hydrometers, pressure and level gauges; apply start-run-stop tests on emergency generators, water and sump pumps and fire engine motors. Report abnormal conditions.
Replace lamps, switches, duplex outlets, dry cells; install and maintain signal and communication systems.
Assist in various tests involving oil samples, connecting and operating portable and stationary oil handling equipment. Assist in electrical tests, TTR, Doble, core megger and resistance for transformer testing, etc.
Assist in station switching including use of radio communication and/or direct instruction from higher classification, assist in checking equipment clearances and making de-energized tests, place grounds as directed.
Knowledge and proficiency in steel and aerial lift rescue.
Maintain records and prepare and submit reports as required.
Attend and participate in training and assist in the training of other employees as assigned.

**Summary:**
Provide manual machinist support of power generation equipment in the Central Repair Shop.
Provide mechanical maintenance support to maintain equipment in an electrical generating power plant; may perform Head Mechanic duties during absence of a Head Mechanic.
**Essential Duties/Responsibilities:**
+ Recognizes safety hazards and follows safety guidelines for personal protection, protection of fellow workers and the protection of the public.
+ Knowledgeable of environmental rules and regulations, and effectively apply them to all work situations.
+ Ability to operate manual lathes to 138" swing, manual boring mills to 17' swing, and large manual horizontal boring machines.
+ Installs, maintains tests, inspects, and repairs generating station equipment such as boilers, turbines, pumps, condensers, heat exchangers, and pressure vessels.
+ Replaces bearings, packing in pumps and valves, shaft seals, sleeves, seats, and other miscellaneous parts used in plant equipment.
+ Works with apprentice mechanics and skill enhancement employees to teach proper, safe use of tools and maintenance procedures.
+ Employee must arrange own transportation to work location and may be reassigned to another location at the Company's discretion.
**Working Conditions:**
+ Machine Shop and Power Plant environment
+ Power Plant Environment-Work both inside and outside in all temperatures and climate conditions in accordance with Heat Stress procedures.
+ Work around large rotating equipment, energized electrical equipment in high noise areas, and/or in confined places, on elevations in excess of 250 feet, or from platforms at heights of 5 feet or greater. Climb stairways, ladders, and work from aerial devices
+ Must be prepared to work irregular or rotating shifts and respond to emergency callout 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Journey level mechanical aptitude skills and adequate industrial mechanical maintenance experience (minimum 3 years' apprentice program or other training) in the repair, inspection, and/or maintenance of related power plant or machine shop equipment including inspection and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, fabricating and diagnostics
+ 5 years' Machinist experience required
+ Large lathes, mills, vertical boring machines and horizontal boring machine.

Job Summary:
The Plant Specialist / Engineer primarily will be responsible for administering NRG's Structural and Walking Working Surfaces Inspection Program; NRG OPO-217 at the Limestone Plant. The incumbent is expected to have a working knowledge of inspection practices and repairs. This knowledge can be gained through experience or a combination of college/technical training. In this position the individual will be expected to provide advanced technical support for issues structural in nature. Project Management of non-OPO projects will be expected.
The job level for this position will be based on education, skills, and experience.
The Limestone Generating Station is a 2-unit 1750MW coal facility built in the 1980's to fire lignite and is currently operating on Powder River Basin coal. The plant is located in Jewett, Texas.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
+ Administration of a high visibility, Safety oriented program to include Budgets, Inspections, repairs and reporting across all management levels.
+ Provide oversite, direction and validation of 3rd party inspectors.
+ Provide oversite, direction, technical consultation regarding repairs and findings to NRG and contractor work crews.
+ Provide direction and coordination to Contract Coordinator(s) with regards to plans, schedules, work scopes, priorities relevant to OPO program and repairs.
+ Manage Station wide repair budget resulting from inspection findings.
+ Build work packages for 3rd party contractors based on finding priorities and adjacency.
+ Develop long range budgets and schedules.
+ Collaborate with Limestone staff, NRG Corporate Leadership, NRG peers at other plants and 3rd parties to improve the plans and execution of programs and projects at Limestone.
+ Develop project scope, budgets and schedules as needed to support plant priorities, these may or may not be inside core areas of responsibility.
+ Perform field inspections, field measurements and equipment walk downs.
+ Support, monitor and emphasize the importance of safety and environmental programs.
+ Prepare written reports in assigned area of responsibility.
+ Participate and/or lead teams that focus on specific problem areas or needs to achieve optimal operation (ie: Root Cause Analysis).
+ Coordinate activities with Vendors/Contractors and outside support groups.
