The Delivery Architect is the execution and technology leader responsible for converting the Solution Architect's blueprint into a buildable, operational design and leading the technical delivery team through implementation, testing, and go-live. Key Responsibilities: * Technical Design & Execution Leadership * Detailed Technical Design: Take the creation of the high-level solution blueprint and create detailed technical specifications, including data conversion programs, system configuration requirements, integration interface definitions, and security/authorization strategy. * Delivery Management: Lead the technical delivery team (functional consultants, developers, and Technology consultants) through the build, test, and cut-over for DMLT projects, acting as the technical project manager lead for the architecture stream. * Performance Optimization: Design for and oversee the performance tuning of data transformation processes and the target SAP landscape, especially for large-volume migrations and complex SLO conversion/transformation activities. * Lead through expertise and influence rather than formal power. This includes guiding technical decisions, resolving conflicts between source and target system requirements, and driving consensus on transformation approaches. Orchestrate the end-to-end solution to the customer as per SOW and manage all the prerequisites, execution, alignments needed for successful delivery including additional activities ownership and support as needed. * DMLT Accelerators & Technology * Accelerators Strategy: Define and implement the optimal set of accelerators and methodologies for the DMLT engagement (e.g., SAP SLO Accelerators, SAP LT, , SAP BODS/CPI, ABAP development) to ensure efficient and compliant execution. * BDC Implementation: Oversee the technical implementation and integration of SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) components (or successor technologies) for data preparation, quality, and consumption within the DMLT lifecycle. * Cut-over and Go-Live: Plan and lead the technical cut-over strategy, including Downtime optimization methodology and post-go-live hyper-care. * Stakeholder Management * Serve as the primary technical liaison with the customer's IT/Basis teams, hosting partners, and other non-SAP system owners to ensure smooth integration and successful landscape transformation. * Manage technical risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle, escalating architecture deviations to the Solution Architect. * Deliver weekly written status updates and host bi-weekly meetings with internal and external stakeholders * Lead weekly status check-ins with the team, achieving at least 80% alignment on team objectives * Soft Skills and Communication * Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders through both verbal and written channels. * Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, including active listening and empathy, to foster a collaborative and positive work environment. * Exhibit excellent leadership and communication skills to motivate and align team members toward shared objectives. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, leveraging strong communication to manage projects and drive successful outcomes. Required Skills & Experience: * 8+ years of experience in SAP technical consulting or development, with 4+ years as a Lead/Delivery Architect for complex SAP implementations or DMLT projects. * Hands-on experience with SAP SLO Accelerator/methodology and/or deep expertise in data migration execution (e.g., SAP Activate, SDT,LTMC, BODS, ABAP/HANA-based migration techniques). * Knowledge of ABAP Language is a plus * Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage the build phase of large, cross-functional SAP projects. * Familiarity with the technical architecture and data integration patterns of SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) and SAP BTP #NADMLT Bring out your best SAP innovations help more than four hundred thousand customers worldwide work together more efficiently and use business insight more effectively.
