Two years of experience in aircraft maintenance, (or similar experience) in the civilian or military fields, or an applicable technical accreditation in a machine shop, manufacturing environment, mechanical engineering, or journeyman certificate.2. Exposure to visual inspection methods, techniques, practices, and aids that are appropriate for the article being inspected.3. Proficiency in the use of various gages to include calipers, borescopes, micrometers, optical or electronic comparators.4. General knowledge of turbine engine components, functions, repairs and shop processes. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS1. High school or technical school graduate or equivalent.2.
