What you will be doing:
The ProjectEngineer will be the technical and/or program lead for design, development, and evaluation of consumer medical products. This role will also be responsible for development of Verification and Validation methods for medical products to ensure they meet intended use and specification needs.
A major component of this role will also be to fulfill projectengineer responsibilities on a per-project basis, including the creation and maintenance of DHF documentation and oversight of technical resolution activities.
Technical product team lead or members across multiple programs working to solve product design development problems and improvements.
Maintain and create DHF files and reports for new and existing products.
Lead or oversee the technical design of product components based upon design requirements.
Work with engineering and marketing teams on new product development and sustaining engineering
Investigation/understanding of competitive designs.
Perform component and system failure analysis with Quality.
Develop, support, or perform usability studies to test new ideas and concepts.
Work with Regulatory to develop and support new clinical studies.
Support 510K and CE registration filings with Regulatory .
Interface and work with other members of the cross-functional team, including electrical and software engineers, marketing, sales, and operations.
Lead technical reviews and testing verifications. Develop and test systems and functions.
Work with outside testing houses for compliance testing, (biocompatibility, safety, performance, FDA, etc.,).
Skills needed to be successful in this role:
Be able to coordinate product development activities in all phases of the NPD process, including evaluating technical feasibility, prototyping, testing, designing, and measuring performance.
Ability to handle multiple projects and remain flexible and adaptable.
Strong communication skills. Must have the ability to provide concise and accurate status and direction on projects, written and verbal.
Must possess proactive attitude and be a self-starter in exploring new products and technologies.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in biomedical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
3+ years of experience conducting product development in a regulated industry.
3+ years of experience in consumer product development.
Must be capable of drafting formal Verification and Validation plans for hardware.
Must be capable of preparing formal review reports for proposed projects.
Ability to travel up to 15% (India, China, Mexico, Thailand, Vietnam, etc., and domestic)
Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Master's degree.
Evaluations of the practicality from a Biomedical viewpoint will be required and a background in Biomedical Engineering.
Ability to create a MATLAB (or equivalent program) pipeline to process raw data and output variables of interest.
Familiarity with SW fundamentals and IEC 62304 standard for medical device SW.
Understanding of UL/ETL/FDA/CE general requirements.
Hands on Circuit Design and PCBA design experience.
In Massachusetts, the standard base pay range for this role is $82,170.00 - $123,255.00 annually. This base pay range is specific to Massachusetts and may not be applicable to other locations. EBI Consulting is seeking a full-time ProjectEngineer to conduct due diligence services as part of our nationally recognized practice. What You'll Do
The ideal candidate will have the ability to carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Primary Accountabilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Leads the plant's maintenance team and collaborates closely with Engineering to coordinate and execute tasks on facilities and equipment in a safe and effective manner
* Effectively develops and leverages an outsourcing network and negotiates contracts, as required, to meet organizational needs
* Establishes, leads and maintains preventive maintenance programs inspecting buildings and equipment
* Coordinates and project-manages capital projects, maintenance, updates, and renovations within a specified budget and timeframe efficiently, leveraging cross-functional teams (purchasing, engineering, safety, etc.)
* Partners with cross-functional teams (safety, HR) to identify and provide learning and development programs to ensure compliance with OSHA and safety regulations, proper operations, preventive maintenance, and repair programs and procedures
* Identifies projects that improve productivity, efficiency, process improvement, increased uptime (reduce downtime), while not compromising safety or quality
* Enforces safety practices and other employment policies for employees and outside contractors
* Assists with recruiting, hiring, training staff, evaluates employee performance, and recommends or initiates promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action
* Leverages CMMS ("Maintenance Connection") to prepare work schedules and assign work to subordinates, manage maintenance inventory and requisition tools, equipment, and supplies
* Works closely with production to ensure clear communication on equipment status and schedule services and/or repairs as needed
* Maintains inventory of spare parts
* Inspects completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards
* Directs employees and/or contractors engaged in maintaining and repairing building utility systems, such as electrical wiring and controls, heating and ventilating systems, boilers, air compressors etc.
* Actively involved in the design, installation, and commissioning of new equipment and systems, and servicing and repairing current equipment and systems, ensuring they meet operational requirements and safety standards
* Practices and sustains ISO 9001 procedures and policies
* Ideates and initiates continuous improvements by using Lean/Continuous Improvement Principles
* Prepares and presents reports on plant performance, maintenance activities, and project progress, providing insights and make recommendations for future improvements

SCOPE: The Controls Engineer is responsible for development, troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving automation control systems in a state-of-the-art food manufacturing facility. Documents changes made to processes.
Specify, apply, diagnose, and calibrate process instrumentation. 4-20mA, HART, IO-Link.
Machine control circuitry and motor control design, including safety circuits and adherence to NEC/NFPA and UL codes.
Configure and control Variable Frequency Drives.
Electrical design, including creation of schematic diagrams.
Control System Programming: SCADA, HMI, and PLC code development to specification.
Lead troubleshooting teams consisting of vendors, electrical engineers, control system programmers, and information system programmers to deliver integrated automation solutions.
