To obtain and maintain employment and unescorted access at DCPP, you must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen, a security background check, psychological screen, computer-based training, and be subject to random drug and alcohol screening.
Job Responsibilities
- Drives the strategic force behind the effort to improve outage performance including implementing new processes and creating new external sourcing arrangements for their area of responsibility.
- Oversees and refines cost reduction initiatives related to their area of responsibility
- Identifies and drives gap initiative efforts to reduce outage duration for their area of responsibility
- Initiates and oversees improvements in outage processes based on most recent refueling outage critiques for their area of responsibility.
- Identifies methods, approaches, and tactics to resolve problems and obtain solutions.
- Identifies and implements technology solutions to streamline and automate routine outage planning related activities.

Qualifications
Minimum:
- High School or GED-General Educational Development-GED Diploma
- Job-related experience, 3 years
Desired:
- Previous Reactor Operator (RO) or Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license; or SRO Certification at DCPP
- BS Degree in Science/Engineering
- Three years of nuclear power plant operations experience
