Nuclear medicine specialist job description

To obtain and maintain employment and unescorted access at DCPP, you must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen, a security background check, psychological screen, computer-based training, and be subject to random drug and alcohol screening.

Job Responsibilities

• Drives the strategic force behind the effort to improve outage performance including implementing new processes and creating new external sourcing arrangements for their area of responsibility.
• Oversees and refines cost reduction initiatives related to their area of responsibility
• Identifies and drives gap initiative efforts to reduce outage duration for their area of responsibility
• Initiates and oversees improvements in outage processes based on most recent refueling outage critiques for their area of responsibility.
• Identifies methods, approaches, and tactics to resolve problems and obtain solutions.
• Identifies and implements technology solutions to streamline and automate routine outage planning related activities.
• May participate on project teams.
  

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High School or GED-General Educational Development-GED Diploma
• Job-related experience, 3 years

Desired:

• Previous Reactor Operator (RO) or Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license; or SRO Certification at DCPP
• BS Degree in Science/Engineering
• Three years of nuclear power plant operations experience
• PMP Certification
