Pros of working at Nugget Markets

Great coworkers

Cons of working at Nugget Markets

Bad management. Continues to allow other managers to undercut hour so they can manipulate the overall sales numbers. Even though everyone is asking for a little bit more help to meet new post COVID demands. The managers get their bonus while we are always overworked. A union would be great to improve this company. They believe giving out some prizes and pizza parties can mask the unfairness, it doesn't. Nugget brags about record sales all the time, but our wages don't reflect that nor are we given more hours for extra help. Nugget continues to preach having fun at work and that we are all family here. Truth is, there hasn't been a fun day that I can remember and I wouldn't treat my most disliked family member the way the company has treated us. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

I loved working for a company that cares about people and provides alot of opportunities for its' associates. Im a hard worker and like working for people who care about a job well done.

Cons of working at Nugget Markets

I feel as though I'm a very ambitious person and the growth within the company has grown stagnant. My days there grew longer and I realized I needed to move on.

Pros of working at Nugget Markets

I've met some great people and really cool guests

Cons of working at Nugget Markets

The management is some of the worst kinds. They support cutthroat office politics from their employees and give genuinely hard working people a hard time over lazy associates who get a free pass. Management is more like a fraternity than anyone you should even think of looking up to. If you somehow make it into the cool kids club you're set. But if they deem you are too much of an individual, or need to talk to them about a serious grievence you may have had at work, you can expect a lot of grief st the hands of your managers. Fun, faced paced work marred by managers who will decide if they like you or not within 5 minutes of meeting you. Just hope you're lucky enough to land on the good side or you're in for a miserable time.

Nugget Markets benefits

Favoritism. It's so entertaining.
