Essential Functions of the Job:
Set up and operate CNC machines (lathe/mill) in order to meet daily production and quality requirements.
Follow company quality control standards to include in-process inspection and documentation.
Must model safe behaviors.

Education:
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
Experience:
Must have at least five years of current CNC lathe setup experience.
Formal CNC training experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to interpret blueprints, setup machines, edit offsets within programs, and perform tool offset adjustments as required to machine specialty bearings.
Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines.
Skilled to perform inspections of dimensions machined, including threads, inner diameters, outer diameters, lengths, widths, and undercuts/grooves.
Skilled to inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
Ability to read and interpret engineering prints.
Ability to make decisions, communicate effectively, and work well with others in a team environment.
Must be a quick learner.
Ability to give, receive, and follow written and verbal instructions in English and communicate job related information to others.
Physical & Environmental Factors:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee generally works indoors within the office and manufacturing areas.
The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
