Job Description and Responsibilities We are seeking an Entry CNC Operator to join our Roll Shop team at our Pueblo, Colorado location. The Entry CNC Operator's primary function is to will be responsible for the dressing and turning of rolls for all our Rolling Mills, in a safe manner. Utilize and safely operate CNC lathe, CNC grinder, cutting tools, templates, hand tools, associated measuring tools, blueprints, Rolling Mill rolls, and necessary safety equipment Direct Bearing Buildup personnel to load and unload lathe Read Prints Select programs, templates, tools, and optimum operation of lathe or grinder Turns rolls and checks tolerances Handle rolls for shipment Provide information and technical assistance to the Rolling Mills Keeps work area and equipment clean and orderly Adhere to all appropriate standard operating procedures Observe all safety rules, lock out procedures Obtain and maintain OSHA 10 and equipment certifications, as required Coordinate and work with mill personnel in maintaining mill production, while operating all equipment needed to complete the job and utilizing necessary safety equipment Perform routine maintenance and assists maintenance personnel Notify supervision and maintenance personnel of all abnormal job and equipment conditions.
