Your Background

What you'll take on
Set up and run CNC Swiss-style lathes and finish operations using fixtures, jigs, and hand tools on equipment including 20's, 32's, 38`s, NTY3's, Hanwha, and Hardinge.
Produce parts to established procedures and guidelines; follow work instructions from kickoff through completion.
Read and interpret blueprints, setup sheets, inspection check sheets, and related work instructions.

Operate a variety of CNC Machines, deburring machines, polishers, parts washers, and sandblasters. Use portable grinders, files and other hand tools to remove burrs, pits, and sharp edges from a variety of machined parts.

Ensure the timely setup and operation of gear grind machines by:

Job Description

The CNC Machinist will be responsible for loading/unloading CNC Lathe. Set up of machine including true up of chuck jaws, program required offsets to maintain blueprint specifications, complete appropriate dimensional documentation.
The right candidate will:
Ability to set up and operate both CNC and manual machinery for use in metal working applications. Experience with G-code and Mazatrol is a plus but not required
Complete SOP travelers and document daily activities, advise supervisor of product non-conformance.
Interpret assembly and blueprints drawings.
Follow proper safety precautions.
Must be courteous and work well with others.
Ability to properly rig heavy machinery and equipment for use with overhead crane.
Maintain an organized and clean work area.
Drug free and safety minded
What you'll need:
At least 6 months of CNC Machining experience
Converting metric and standard measurements.
Basic Trigonometry functions
Ability to use and read precise measuring tools
Ability to learn and understand critical processes and operations in assigned areas
HR diploma or equivalent

Compensation is from 41,600 USD to 66,560 USD per year + Shift 10 % Premium
Job Duties
Operate CNC Mill, Lathe, and Swiss
Blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
Make offsets and work positions to meet print tolerance
Use of micrometers, calipers and optical comparators
Basic Precision Metrology
Experience running, setting up, and adjusting CNC turning, and/or milling machinery
Perform hand work on components such as deburring and minor polishing
Background Profile
Knowledge of removing burrs
Ability to set up CNC Mills from start to finish including prepping of tools
Ability to read and understand M and G codes
Use of Fanuc and Siemens controls
Knowledge of Lyndex Nikken rotary table with 3+2 on Vertical Mills
Experience with full 5-Axis Vertical Mills
Trouble shoot machining processes and machines
Operate multiple machines at one time
Experience with Medical Components
Medical manufacturing Protocols
Star CNC Swiss machine knowledge
Machining experience with Titanium, Stainless, and High Nickel alloys
Operation of CMM
Troubleshooting/optimizing new CNC programs and processes
Hand toolpath programming (angles/radii)
