This position requires an experienced professional capable of working across multiple machine platforms, optimizing cycle times, and producing precision parts to exacting standards. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Includes, but may not be limited to the following: Programs, sets up, and operates Doosan PUMA 3100 mill-turn, as well as horizontal and vertical CNC mills (Makino A51, Doosan HP4000, Makino F5, Haas VF-2, Haas Mini-Mills). Creates, proves out, and optimizes CNC programs using Mastercam or similar CAM software. Develops efficient tool paths, speeds, feeds, and work holding strategies for precision production. Conducts machine setups, tool presetting, and offset adjustments for production and prototype runs. Interprets blueprints, GD&T, and processes sheets to ensure conformance to specifications. Performs part inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and CMM reports as required. Troubleshoots machining issues, identifies process improvements, and collaborates with engineering and quality teams. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Minimum 3-5 years of CNC programming and operating experience, including multi-axis mill-turn and horizontal/vertical machining centers.
