PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Interprets and understand simple and complex part drawings.

Reads, understands, and follows guidelines set forth by E.I.s, M.P.s, S.P.s, O.I.C.s, and blueprints when performing assigned work.

TOOLS AND MACHINERY
CNC machines such as saws, press brake, manual mills, plasma cutter and CNC Flex machine. Tools include micrometers, Vernier's, scales, protractors, compass, height gage, dial indicator, tape measure, go-no-go gauges and squares.
MATERIALS
Personal protective equipment to include safety glasses, steel toed shoes, hearing protection, welding apron, face shield, and appropriate gloves.
GENERAL

Acts decisively with a sense of urgency to maximize machine production and minimize down time. Piper Companies is seeking an experienced Machinist to support an in-house machining program for a leading pharmaceutical organization. This is a contract, on-site role based in Clayton, NC, ideal for a skilled professional with CNC programming expertise and a strong background in precision part manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities of the Machinist:
