**We are seeking several CNC Machine Operators to join our 2nd and 3rd Shift operations team.** CNC Machine Operators are responsible for operating and troubleshooting CNC machines according to scheduled orders to produce quality machine parts for the Aerospace, Aviation and Automotive industries. Machines include CNC lathes, mills, grinders, and manual tools.
The ideal candidate for this position can demonstrate the ability to:
- Use measuring equipment effectively such as micrometers and calipers
- Work from written procedures and work routers
- Dismantle jigs, tools, and special fixtures
- Make tooling as necessary
- Maintain drawing specifications by monitoring dimensional and visual characteristics to detect non-conformances
- Handle raw material and hazardous waste safely and in an environmentally responsible manner
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
**Shift Times** :
2nd Shift: 2:30pm-11pm
3rd Shift: 10:30pm-7am

Overview
The Rhode Island Energy Gas Control Operator is responsible for monitoring and controlling the flow rates of natural gas into the Rhode Island Energy gas distribution system to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of adequate customer supplies. This position utilizes the Gas Control Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system and manual input to ensure that the system's gas demand requirements are balanced with adequate supplies from available resources and that the gas system can be operated safely, reliably, and efficiently. Responsibilities
+ The Gas Control System Operator operates and monitors the Rhode Island natural gas distribution system.
+ Provides oversight for the natural gas distribution system ensuring safe and reliable flows utilizing a SCADA.
+ Monitors daily system supply operational requirements and advises other internal departments (Gas Supply, Gas Planning, Engineering, etc.) of load and weather changes.
+ Communicates and coordinates field personnel to respond to SCADA Alarms.
+ Logs all pertinent shift activities in the Electronic Logging System.
+ Responsible for contacting after hours support such as Instrumentation and Regulation (I&R), SCADA Team, IT, Liquified Natural Gas (LNG), and Gas Supply Teams.

Essential Job Functions

Job Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Technical school or relevant training preferred.
* Three (3) or more years of experience in field machining in an industrial setting required.
* Current HAZWOPER training certificate preferred.

* Position is based out of a branch or site location.
* Field duties require indoor and outdoor work in a plant atmosphere

Summary:
This position uses Tri-Mack's CNC and manual machining equipment to produce tight tolerance plastic and metal parts using pre-defined programs, tools, and work holding that have already been loaded into the machine. It requires a good working background in manufacturing and the ability to independently operate a variety of machines within their department, producing the more complicated parts, running multiple machines at once and completing some set-ups independently.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Operate CNC machines to tight tolerances and specifications; may run more than one machine at a time.
Identify critical dimensions and independently measure parts with minimal guidance.
Complete all documentation accurately each shift.
Troubleshoot problems. Identify dull tools and inserts for static tooling and replace as necessary.
Make offsets involving multiple datum systems.
Verify raw material documentation and match picklists to maintain lot traceability.
Execute and document preventative maintenance tasks per relevant work instructions.
Keep work station clean and organized.
Actively pursue opportunities to develop new skills within the department and across departmental lines.
Work in a manner that ensures your own safety and the safety of your co-workers, always use correct PPE, and never run a machine without proper guarding.
