Operate manual vertical mills and surface grinding machines with a high degree of precision. Interpret and work from 2D and 3D blueprints Apply strong knowledge of cutting tools and materials to optimize machining performance and tool life. Edit and modify G-code for improved efficiency and accuracy during machining operations. Utilize Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure part accuracy and quality standards. Stay current with the latest machining practices, techniques, and technologies to maintain high-quality output. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for consistent and safe machine operations. Provide training and mentorship to other team members as needed. Estimate time and resources required for machining projects and assist with planning and scheduling. Qualifications Proven proficiency in Mastercam or Fusion 360 for 3-axis CNC programming.
