Responsibilities Set up and run CNC machine (Makino's/Okuma's) holding tight tolerances as low as +/- .002. Ability to interact with computer-based controllers to enter or edit job offsets/programs. Operations performed include, but are not limited to, indicating of fixtures, offsetting of fixtures, milling, drilling, and grinding (of interior diameter) while maintaining specific tolerances and measurements. In addition to machining, operator also air weighs and uses CNC etching machine to etch permanent serial number on discs following each machining cycle.
