The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, modifying, and optimizing CNC programs to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: * Develop and write CNC programs using Mastercam software for various machining operations (milling, turning, etc.) on multi-axis CNC machines. * Interpret engineering drawings and 3D models to determine machining requirements and optimal tool paths. * Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters for different materials and geometries. * Simulate and verify CNC programs to detect and correct potential errors, collisions, or inefficiencies before actual machining. * Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and production staff to troubleshoot issues, optimize processes, and improve part quality and production efficiency. * Perform basic machine setup and operation for program testing and validation. * Document program changes, setup sheets, and operational procedures. GENERAL: * Required: Certificate in Mastercam. * Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming. * Ability to interpret engineering drawings featuring GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). * Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to [e.g., 30-50] pounds. * Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and machinery.
