Job Description
This Tool Room Tech keeps track of the tooling being used and replaced in the production facilities. Tooling includes molding heads, saw blades, clamp materials, and other miscellaneous machinery.
The Tool Room Tech would work 3rd shift. The hours for the Tech would be Monday -Thursday 8pm -6:30am with overtime hours as seen necessary by management.
Duties and Responsibilities
Uses spread sheets or other software to track the tooling in and out of the tool room.
Sends and receives tools to FS, and other suppliers for service.
Know where all the tooling is at any time using serial numbers.
Labels all the tooling so it can be identified by the profile and the machine it's used on.
Provides the necessary info to the machine operators so they know tooling diameter, length, and any other info the machine might need.
Assist in training operators to use new or modified equipment.
Coordinating and responding to changes from original specifications.
Monitoring project results for quality, efficiency, and yield.
Communicating between all divisions to resolve problems.
Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

A Press Brake Operator will set up and operate CNC Press Brakes to form/bend/flatten various types of metal parts to customer print specifications. Duties & Responsibilities * Commitment to workplace safety. * Set up and operate CNC Press Brakes including adjustment and/or replacement of tooling, guides and fixtures. Use multiple vices and work offsets.
* Review work order and specifications to determine set up procedure, machining sequence and dimensions of finished workpiece.
* Remove burrs and stage parts prior to forming.

A machinist will operate manually controlled and computer numericallycontrolled (CNC) machine tools such as lathes and milling machines, to cut and produce precision parts for machines, instruments, and tools. They control the machinery that produces the speed and cuts to create a specific part. The machinist will also be responsible for performing basic maintenance on the machines and replacing dull or aged parts as necessary.
Essential Duties
* Plans for each day's machining by studying blueprints, engineering plans, and materials.
* Analyzes information and finds the best solutions to problems.
* Programs CNC mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points.
* Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling, and thread-chasing operations.
* Adhering to safety procedures and regulations to ensure safe operations.
* Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance.
* Continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions in our internal electronic system.
* Confers with engineers, production, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems.
Qualifications
* Ability to operate and program CNC mills or lathe.
* Proficient computer and technical skills.
* Ability to read blueprints.
* Detail oriented.
* Team player.
* Self-starter.
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Have a valid driver's license.
* Experience operating CNC mills and lathes in a production environment.
Physical Demands
The individual will regularly be required to stand. The individual will frequently be required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The individual will occasionally be required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The individual must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
