CNC Machine Operator will perform duties to set up and operate a number of different computerized numericalcontrolled machine tools to perform a wide range of turning, drilling and tapping operations on various complex component parts of mechanical shaft seals in a work cell environment in a production mode. This position follows a Monday - Thursday, 3:30pm - 2am schedule with overtime as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Validate correct material is loaded per the work order traveler
Ensure part is load with correct grain direction
Secure part within the holding fixture
Ensure the programmed dimensions are loaded into the machine correctly
Monitor 1st part run at every operation and obtain first part buy off by inspection
Deburr parts as needed
Ability to complete necessary paperwork and clocking within ERP system
Requirements
Minimum Two years' experience operating 5 Axis CNC Machines
Must be able to do your own setups
Be able to read and understand design blueprints/drawings
Must be able to operate more than one machine at a time
Attention to detail
Must be able to use precision measuring instruments to verify the accuracy of your own parts
