POSITION DESCRIPTION The NC Programmer plans machining sequences and fixturing for 3-5 axis machine tools. The Programmer I will ensure our systems run effectively and securely.The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining internal scripts for our business. Ideally, they will have a background in software development and programming. They will also be self-motivated and self-supervised, as remote working is encouraged for at least part of the working week. As a member of the IT team, the Programmer I will collaborate closely with IT staff to ensure system performance, continuity and life cycle. A collaborative attitude and analytical mindset are essential for this position, along with a problem-solving mindset. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Analyze requirements and transform them into technical designs. Write, optimize, and debug software programs and scripts.
