Key Responsibilities
Perform the full nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) to deliver individualized, high-quality patient care
Provide patient-centered, relationship-based care tailored to population-specific needs
Coordinate care through effective interdisciplinary collaboration and communication
Partner with patients and families to support care planning, education, and goal setting
Deliver care using current clinical standards, evidence-based practice, and research
Ensure accurate, timely clinical documentation
Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive care environment
Participate in performance improvement, quality initiatives, and shared governance
Serve as a preceptor or mentor to nurses, staff, and students
Support efficient use of resources while maintaining patient safety
Assist in protocol and procedure development to improve patient outcomes
Comply with all professional, ethical, legal, and regulatory nursing standards
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
Key Skills; Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or Compact)
BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
Ability to practice evidence-based nursing care
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Strong time-management and organizational skills
Proficiency with clinical documentation and healthcare technology
Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Licensure & Certifications (required upon hire):
Active RN License (Single-State of Georgia or Compact)
BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
Minimum 1 years of direct patient care RN experience
Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environment
Commitment to Hospital care standards, safety policies, and code of conduct
Ability to work night shift (for this specific role)
