Summary:
A Stepdown Registered Nurse provides care to patients who are transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical or general inpatient units. Position Summary :
RNs coordinate and evaluate patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. They oversee and direct the LPNs and MHTs on their units to provide for the safety and needs of the patients.

Qualifications
Education and License:
Education : Graduate from an accredited professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience: A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
Licensure: RN license issued by the State of Michigan
Work Hours: Full-Time Night Shift (7 p.m. - 7 a.m.). This position works rotating holidays and every other weekend.
