The House Supervisor performs complex and varied tasks requiring independent knowledge, its application to a variety of situations, as well as exercise of independent judgment. Coordinates the delivery of patient care and performs administrative functions on the nursing care units during days, evenings, nights, and weekends, supporting the direction established by the nursemanagers and the CNO. The House Supervisor is responsible for promoting and maintaining quality patient care through effective management of the activities of the total patient care services during his/her shift. These activities may include, but are not limited to: assisting the patient care services department with admissions and bed assignments, facilitating patient care activities throughout the hospital, staff assignments or reassignments, relieving or assisting unit staff during busy times, observing and evaluating staff, attending and participating innursing staff meetings, and facilitation of continuous quality improvement activities. In the absence of the Chief Executive Officer or his designee, the House Supervisor has the authority and responsibility for administrative decisions and appropriate notification of the Administrator-on-call.

Part Time Casual, Nurse Administrator for Van Wert Hospital, Med Surg Unit on nights.
Hours 6pm-6am
The Nurse Administrator I position is responsible for maintaining efficient and effective operations of nursing units/hospitals by providing direction for patient care services, patient throughput, and support for all hospital departments
**Responsibilities And Duties:**
50%
Contributes to administrative functioning of nursing services by reviewing staffing, reassigning and allocating staff as appropriate to meet changing patient care needs.
15%
Serves as a clinical resource and role model to nursing staff. Ensures safe and equitable working environments. Uses information systems to retrieve, implement, and retain essential records and services.
15%
Interacts with internal and external customers and serves as a resource for information and problem solving (i.e. media, patient relations, risk management, security, hospital administration, patients, and families).
10%
Serves as a liaison between nursing services and other hospital departments for problem solving and problem resolution (i.e. Pharmacy, Lab, etc.).
10%
Coordinates and/or assists with activities during internal and external emergency situations.

**Minimum Qualifications:**
Associate's Degree (Required) RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of Nursing
**Additional Job Description:**
Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or Current Registered Nurse license in good standing with a multi-state compact state. Field of Study: Nursing Years of Experience 2 to 5 years
Staffing and scheduling patterns, communication, interpersonal relationships skills, problem solving, and conflict resolution
Minimum 2 years clinical experience
+ BLS Certified
+ Specialized Knowledge in related field
+ Demonstrated leadership skills

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) supports the Director of Nursing (DON) by planning, organizing, developing, and overseeing the Nursing Service Department's daily functions. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local standards to maintain high-quality care, as directed by the Executive Director, Medical Director, or Director of Health Services.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinates with the DON to help select, retain, develop, and lead the clinical team.
Assists in coordinating nursing and ancillary services as needed with other department leaders to ensure the continuity of the residents total regimen of care.
Assists in implementing our clinical staffing model and performs administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports &audits, evaluations, charting, etc. as necessary.
Participates in the implementation and maintenance of the company's Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) program.
Participates and prepares for facility surveys (inspections) and accreditation programs conducted by authorized regulatory agencies and/or the company.
Qualifications
Associate degree or advanced degree inNursing
0-1 Years of relevant experience preferred
Must have and maintain a current, valid state RN license and current, valid CPR certification required.
