Your Job Responsibilities:

• Monitors workflow and adjusts staffing accordingly to support fiscal goals of the unit.
• Coordinates and facilitates efficient patient flow for the unit. Ensures timely and efficient pull of patients being admitted to the unit as well as timeliness of discharging patients from the unit.
• Assists the manager in achieving and sustaining department and organizational objectives including but not limited to patient experience, length of stay, and unit/patient specific quality measures.
• Participates in department specific initiatives and process improvement projects.
• Participates in peer interviews and provide feedback for employee evaluations as requested by manager.
• Assists with occurrence investigations.

General Accounting Management

Job Responsibilities
Leads workgroups for Managed Services Provider account implementations and ensures standard processes are communicated in a methodical and professional manner.
Presents reasons for specific improvements in client processes in order to improve service delivery, generate cost efficiencies, and mitigate risk in alignment with business objectives.
Coordinates with the Sales division to handle client and clinician situations in an effective manner.
Demonstrates adaptability to meet periodic changes in departmental needs and promotes direct, honest, open, and timely communication.
Provides primary clinical support to all assigned clients, including Associate Vendors, by engaging with facility key contacts to address clinical processes and concerns.
Responds urgently to customer concerns that jeopardize assignment completion by coordinating with internal sales, operations leaders, and partners to make timely and informed decisions.
Demonstrates knowledge of internal AMN policies as well as those relevant to facility, state, federal, and accreditation standards.
Troubleshoots assignment issues and investigates situations gathering all relevant information with clinicians, clients, and internal departments to resolve the problem in a cooperative and collaborative framework.
Provides oversight to the performance evaluation process to promote the quality of clinicians and recognizes clinicians for superior performance.

The Director of Clinical Services (DCS) is responsible for the overall direction of hospice clinical services. The DCS establishes, implements, and evaluates goals and objectives for hospice services that meet and promote the standards of quality and contribute to the total organization and philosophy.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures Agency compliance with all applicable state and federal home health laws and regulations.
Coordinates and oversees all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical organization personnel.
Provides guidance and counseling to coordinators and Clinical Supervisors to assist them in continually improving all aspects of hospice care services, provided through organization personnel.
Assists Clinical Supervisors in managing clinical teams and planning. Provides help in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient and family/caregiver care to all clinical personnel as indicated.
Assists the Executive Director/Administrator in the preparation and administration of the organization's budget.
Interprets operational indicators to detect census changes and increases or decreases in volume that could impact staffing levels, revenues or expenses. Evaluates performance of Clinical Supervisors.
Assists Clinical Supervisors to develop skills and techniques in evaluating the performance of clinicians.
Hires, evaluates, and terminates organization personnel.
Conducts annual evaluations on clinicians, or more frequently if indicated.
Oversees the maintenance of patient clinical records, statistics, reports and records for purposes of evaluation and reporting of organization activities.
Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws.
Responsible for the maintenance of adequate and appropriate inventory supplies and equipment for the provision of patient services.

Stays informed about changes in the field of nursing and hospice care; shares information with appropriate organization personnel.
Promotes hospice referrals in the health care community. In the absence of the Executive Director/Administrator, the Clinical Director will become the acting Executive Director/Administrator and will be vested with authority to act in behalf of the Executive Director/Administrator.

Registered nurse in the State with current licensure to practice professional nursing in the State.

Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or Organization requirements and is in good working order.
