This role supervises behavioral health teams and ancillary providers, manages regulatory reviews, oversees contracted clinical services, and collaborates across departments to support the well‑being of individuals served. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Clinical Oversight & Leadership Direct oversight of ancillary clinical services (OT, PT, SLP, Dietary/Nutrition, Counseling). Ensure clinical practices support person‑centered planning, trauma‑informed care, and cultural competence. Conduct monthly supervision with Behavior Technicians and Behavior Support Professionals; support DDS credentialing and RBT licensure. Ensure staff access to required documentation and information. Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance Coordinate DDS review processes, including PRC, HRC, and URR; ensure accurate, timely documentation and follow‑up. Conduct audits of behavior plans, data, consents, treatment plans, and PRC/HRC/URR materials. Review/approve behavioral crisis incident reports and participate in investigations and high‑risk case reviews. Contract & Vendor Management Oversee behavioral health and ancillary service contracts; monitor performance and satisfaction. Participate in vendor selection, negotiation, and renewal with the Chief Clinical Officer. Attend monthly partner meetings with Lotus Behavioral Consultant, LLC and DDNCS. Interdisciplinary Collaboration Work with residential, day, and compliance teams to implement clinical recommendations. Participate in emergency debriefings and review processes. Ensure consistency and quality across programs through regular audits. Psych Clinic Coordination Manage annual appointment calendar, provide reminders, and attend clinics when needed. Ensure follow‑up on recommendations when Behavior Support Professionals are unavailable. Licensing & Inspections (QSR, DDS, etc.) Ensure all clinical documents (BSPs, reports, consents, treatment plans) are current and compliant. Participate in inspections and ensure corrective actions are completed. Vendor Services / VSA Responsibilities If applicable, obtain DDS Qualified Provider status. Provide behavioral services and complete monthly billing for VSA clients. General Duties Maintain safe and lawful driving practices using agency or personal vehicle. Supervisory Responsibilities Supervise the Behavioral Services Department, including internal and contracted behaviorists. Oversee ancillary service providers to ensure quality and timeliness of assessments, plans, and training. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in healthcare or human services (nursing, social work, psychology, public health). Minimum 3 years progressive leadership experience and 2 years experience in behavior modification for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Experience with behavioral health and ancillary care coordination preferred. SALARY 62,912/yr. Rate increases to 68,580/yr, after 6 month introductory period.
