PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
General and Staff Related:
Provide day to day guidance, support and direction to direct patient care staff, providing informal feedback on an ongoing basis and formal feedback input for the annual performance evaluation. Participate in the department staffing and the appropriate hiring, firing and disciplinary actions. Recommend disciplinary action to Clinical Manager and initiate as appropriate.
Ensure compliance with all company and facility approved procedures and policies as well as regulations set forth by state and federal agencies in clinics with more than 100 patients.
Approve or disapprove time or personnel schedule changes in the absence on the Clinical Manager ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, policies and procedures for documenting time of work hours for staff members on assigned shift.
Participate in patient care plan meetings.
Maintain knowledge in the current practices related to the principles and techniques of dialysis by participating in all scheduled in-services.
Train and orient staff as necessary.
Routinely observe and guide direct patient care staff for appropriate technique and adherence to facility policies and procedures.
Promote and assist with compliance to OSHA programs in order to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Maintain overall shift operation in a safe, efficient, and effective matter.

Continuously monitor patient's condition with regards to problems and potential complications associated with dialysis.
Administer medications to patients per physician's orders.
Act as the subject matter expert and as a resource for staff members.

Admit new patients according to facility procedure.
Ensure educational needs of patients are met and educate the patient and family about End Stage Renal Disease, dialysis therapy, diet and medication.
Technical:
Supervise the safe and effective use of all equipment involved in direct patient care.
Operate all dialysis related and emergency equipment safely and efficiently when needed.
Perform required testing and verification and initial the checklist for start-up and shut-down procedures as outlined in the Technical Services Manual.
Complete Nurse's Technical Training Program/Water Quality Facility Training.
Other:
Assist with special projects or other duties as assigned by the Clinical Manager
Assist with the interviewing of potential direct patient care staff as requested.
Promote efficient use of medical supplies.
Attend and participate in monthly Quality Assurance meetings.

This is Tono's first commercial hire. We are looking for a Strategic Builder-Operator to architect our sales engine in the NYC Metro area and beyond.
This role combines the high-velocity execution of pharma field sales with the strategic relationship building of enterprise tech sales. You are not just running a route; you are building an ecosystem.
We are looking for someone who can grind in the field-visiting clinics and solving workflow bottlenecks-but who is equally comfortable "meeting them where they are." Whether that means working the floor at a national conference, hosting a dinner for Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), or navigating a complex health system partnership, you are the face of Tono's growth.

The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for the leadership and organization of the nursing team. The DON will also function as a Risk Manager for the organization in collaboration with the Chief Compliance Officer in providing a high level of quality of care to the community while ensuring compliance in nursing and related services.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and oversee all licensed nursing and medical assistant staff
Responsible for nursing staff performance, retention and development
Oversee infection control and immunization program
Monitors nursing and nutrition departments' utilization and productivity.
Coordinates and implements policies/protocols for quality and utilization of services, infection control and patient care
Supervise office workflows and recommend improvements to promote reduced patient wait time and increased patient education and satisfaction
Reports on nursing department program activity as required by local, state, and federal agencies, funding sources and NCHC policies on a timely basis
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college plus 5 years in a primary care clinical setting and 3 years in a supervisory / administrative role
Current NJ RN License
Current Basic Life Support Certification
Possess strong communication and leadership skills

The Registered Nurse is an individual practitioner and the interdisciplinary team manager, utilizes the nursing process to integrate all aspects of the provision of care and individualizes the plan of care to address a specific patient's needs.
