What you'll do: * Provide care for a full spectrum primary care clinic, taking care of acute and chronic care needs. * Be curious in an effort to keep more care in primary care; solve problems, answer questions, and spend quality time in service of learning on behalf of your patients. * Provide patients and family members with counseling and education regarding health maintenance, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and need for follow up as appropriate during each patient visit. * Collaborate with Clinicians, Specialists, Pharmacists, Nurses, and other healthcare professionals in person or by video in the best interest of patients. * Perform minor outpatient procedures in accordance with credentialing/privileging policy. * Complete timely and accurate documentation. What you'll bring: * Currently licensed or able to be licensed in the state of Washington by hire date. * Completion of Nurse Practitioner program at the master's level, with a national certification from one of the following organizations: American Academy of Nurse Practitioners or American Nurses Credentialing Center. * 2+ years of experience is strongly preferred. * Able to consistently work at least one day Monday through Friday. * A special interest, experience, fellowship, or degree in primary care. * Unrestricted DEA, NPI, and prescriptive authority. * Ability to be credentialed under Medicare. * Flexibility with scheduling to cover varying clinic shifts. * Proficient in use of the EMR, with Epic experience strongly preferred. * Excellent critical thinking, flexibility, problem solving and communication skills. Working Environment This position operates in a clinic environment, providing both in person and telehealth care. Collaboration with various healthcare providers is routine, and participation in wellness programs may also be required. Physical Requirements Ability to work in a clinical environment, interact with patients for prolonged periods, and perform duties requiring a high level of concentration and emotional resilience.
